The Chromatic Conquest: Free-Zones

The Chromatic Conquest has come up with a new change! Free-Zones or "Non-Hub Areas" have been added into the challenge. These areas cant be taken over by any team.

New POTD: The Future!
The Future is in chaos! And this weeks all about it. You can see its alot more damaged, and Ben 10 can be seen with his newest redesign, alongside Numbuh 5 with some battle armor. If you look behind Numbuh 5 you see the iconic weapon you are given at the tutorial, which could mean this is the tutorial area.

Item Showcase: Kimchi Cloud
The Kimchi Cloud, while stinky, is very fast and will get ya to wherever you need to be!

Monster Bios: Air Drone

Fusion Matter has gone crazy and gotten hold of technology, allowing this thing to exist and terrorize Genius Grove (The Future)!

Tip Corner: Double Rewards
Every Nano you collect also gives you a step up to the next level. 


One mission, two rewards! That's right - completing a Nano mission gives you a double reward! You get a new Nano to help you in your fight AND you also level up, which means you can use even better equipment. You'll be automatically given a Nano Mission each time your Fusion Matter meter fills up. You need to collect that Fusion Matter because it's one of the key ingredients in Nano creation. Complete the Nano mission, get a brand new Nano, move up a level, repeat!

Lets Talk! Should you rush to Level 4?FusionFall RETRO is gonna open up with just The Future, and no areas of the Past will be available, due to the monster and car pathing not being implemented there yet. This has raised a good question: Should you rush to Level 4, or take it slowly?

Some people will rush to Level 4 to have early access to the Past, this is done by grinding. On the other hand some will do missions and take the game slowly, maybe even reading and learning the lore of the game! Whichever is chosen, both sides are very likely to make another account and do it the other way.

This decision is all personal. I myself will rush 1st and slowly 2nd. This is all up to personal tastes and more.

The Chromatic Conquest: FreeZones!

UPDATE: Free-Zone Locations have been revealed in the 1st comment of this thread via modification.

In addition to this, there will be some other new stuff revealed along the way - more than likely the first of which being new rules, but this is not definite. However, stay aware of knowing that something really cool is gonna be added to to the Chromatic Conquest Challenge just in time for Retro.

POTD 24/07/2017: The Future!

POTD Analysis: Exotic B̶u̶t̶t̶e̶r̶s̶ Places!

This weeks POTDs were all about exotic areas! Lets check them all out.

1stly, since these are exotic and seem to have nature and wild life in them, im sure these all take place in the Wilds. Lets see them all.

1- The volcano

This one is very interesting as, unless you are a fan of FusionFall, you wont know what this place is. This is the inside of the volcano of Monkey Mountain! And it certainly looks menacing. It seems it got infected by FM too, as seen on one of the rocks.

I cant remember if the outfit here is new or old, but either way it looks great!

2- Mt. Whitehead!
 
The next POTD shows us a new area: Mt Whitehead! Which seems to be an opposite of Mt. Blackhead, just that in the cold rather than in the hot or humid of the wilds. We can see that its snowing, which is something never seen before in FF.

The text "understand the difference between pizza and french fry!" is a reference to South Park btw XP

3- The Cliffside
 
The final POTD of this week shows a cliffside, and we see a fusion monster alongside a terrafuser just after the bridge. Its also raining, which is something new in FF, but something we havent seen before.

Many people dont really recognize this area, but lets think about it for a bit. This area could be Devils Canyon as that place had a cliff and also its text describes it as "canyon" (rocky cliffs of this canyon) 

It also reveals that some of the monsters here are inspired by dinosaur fossils, which hints at the monsters of this area being dinosaur fusions.

Item Showcase: Kimchi Cloud

While it does stink a little, This 750 class Kimchi Cloud can get you whenever you need to be quickly, at the cost of leaving a trail of bad smells behind you.

Being uncommon and only costing 5000 Taros, its a cheap and efficient way to go around the Cartoon Network Universe. Sadly Fuses minions dont have noses so they bad smell wont make them go away (maybe they smell AS or even WORSE than Kimchi?).

POTD 21/07/2017: Cliffside

"Believe it or not, the fossils embedded in the rocky cliffs of this canyon seem to be the inspiration for quite a few of Fuse's troops."

Area Bios: Haunted Ridge

The Haunted Ridge is south of the Pimpleback Mountains and is in the Wilds. It currently serves little purpose exept to help out with a few of Gwen's missions. Its only NPC is Agent Greenberg.

Sometime during the invasion, an extraterritorial/alien sent down a meteorite that crashed in the Haunted Ridge. SACT identified it at first as a meteor from Planet Fusion, but later found there was a unidentified UFO in it telling of the meteorite's power to repress Fuse's power. SACT Agent Greenberg used it at the abandoned mine camp, which at the time was becoming an infected zone. The meteorite's ore suppressed Fuse's minions, protecting the camp. The origin of the ore and UFO is still currently unknown. The UFO can sometimes be spotted moving over Haunted Ridge. It is possible that the UFO could be one of the many that appeared during the "Cartoon Network Invaded" event. This is supported by the fact that every show involved with "Invaded" is represented in the game.  


The only mission series currently in Haunted Ridge is "SACT Attack," in which Agent Greenberg needs you to investigate a UFO in the abandoned mining camp.

Monster Bios: Air Drone

 

Here we have the Air Drone! The Air Drone is a level 2 monster found in Genius Grove (The Future). He has no special powers, and his boss version is the Air Drone Enforcer.

These guys are designed to be like bettles, but at the same time mechanical. These poor machines were corrupted with Fusion matter and became evil, thus making them attack Genius Grove alongside its other mechanical friends.

While it doesnt have any special powers, do be careful on approaching and fighting, as they can be in swarms or groups, alongside being very quick. Stay far away using a sniper rifle, or use a shattergun to get rid of them in groups.

POTD 19/07/2017: Mt. Whitehead!

Seems like the making of the 1st Monster Bio, which is all about Shocktanglers made em happy, and have been presenting alot more energy recently. This has made em create an excess of energy which will make them more powerful. Be careful around these guys.

The Chromatic Conquest: The best event on FusionFall?

Recently a post was made about this event called The Chromatic Conquest, which was made by EmperorEctoshock from the FFU forums. Its all about 6 teams competing to get awesome rewards, control territory and much more! Its crazy fun, and you can join 6 different teams, or squadrons and platoons as the post references them. This seems like one of the biggest and best events in FusionFall we had so far! And its beginning this August 15th.

Memes, a great way to express jokes or ridiculous situations, and FusionFall isnt safe from this either. Here are my 5 favorite memes ive seen :P

Number 5: Broken Release Date Machine
 
Our 1st meme here is the recently popular X machine broke meme. In our case, this man comes to a restaurant to see the RETRO release date, all ruined after they tell him that the Release Date broke, thus making the man kinda mad, making him say the popular quote "Understandable. Have a great day". Making much more sense since the Release date has shifted alot since the 1st summer 2016 release date.

Number 4: Dupe Threads
 
Our next entry shows the ridiculous stuff that can happen with threads asking for a release date. Your typical person comes with a thread to ask about it, only for a mod to tell you its a duplicate thread, thus making you panic and run for your life before you get a warning. Its downright hilarious and i just love it. Makes so much sense XP

Number 3: The meta joke

This next one shows the most problematic thing about the original game: CRASHING. See, when you warped to a buddy, you had the high chance to crash, thus when you succesfully make it, its considered "a success". Made even funnier with "success baby" in here.

Number 2: The unknown
 
With the ridiculous ways that you could get out of places to enter the unknown, of course you would get lost and end up in the middle of nowhere (literally), and this one shows just that, and the struggle that it can be to return. Sadly getting to the unknown will be impossible in RETRO, but hey! Its still fun to remember this weird but interesting place.

Number 1: The Guides

With all the guides in FusionFall being crazy smart, strong or powerful, all that Double D has is... Butter Toast. Mocking how complex the other guides are in comparison to Double D, and just how hilarious his abilities are in comparison to others.

Character Bios: Plants10000? (Lol wat)

Bois! I will be taking todays Character Bio XP

Hello! Im Plants10000, also known as Mega4500 on the FFU Forums. Im a FusionFall fanatic since i was 6 yrs old and played the Future and the Academy updates. While i dont remember much of The Future, i do remember alot of The Academy, since it was the version of the game i played the most. I played from 2009 all the way to 2013, when it was closed. I was a F2P back in those days, mainly cuz they didnt sell the memberships where i live in, which is Mexico. In fact, over here we NEVER got FusionFall, which really bummed me out. Instead we got.... Toonix... (The equivalent of Noods in the USA)

Anyways, later on, in 2011, i got back on the game to find out it had the Academy. I was fine with it, not really angry unlike everyone, but it certainly was a major downgrade from The Future. I tried to make a FusionFall blog during this time, but it failed miserably:P

Later on, when i found out FusionFall was closing, i was seriously bummed out, and really sad. At the time i didnt knew about Project R, but later on in 2014 i found out about it. Better late than never i guess.

Jump onto late 2015, where i got into FusionFall AGAIN, this time in the form of Legacy. I loved the idea and being a fan of the game, alongside other FusionFall blogs like FusionFall Hints and Tips and ultimately got the idea of making a blog myself, alongside a few of my friends who knew about the game as well.

And thus, The FusionFall Legacy Blog was born! The name was later changed to match both RETRO and Legacy, alongside the Original. Ive had so much fun doing this blog, and will probably stop until RETRO and Legacy are dead.

Now, onto a few fun facts about me!
- I like Coke ALOT. Its the thing i drink the most (im gonna die halp).
- Im a memeaholic, which means i love memes.
- Love Team Fortress 2, FusionFall, Plants Vs Zombies Series and Cartoon Network.
- Based my blog on FusionFall Hints and Tips (link on the top of the text) made by De ZombieWeasel.
- Love computers.
- Very smart, but i hate History.
- Only likes Cheese Pizza.
- Loves exploits.
- Love TCGs or CCGs

The Chromatic Conquest: The 1st challenge!

The 1st challenge was announced yesterday, and its quite a tricky one actually. Here are the details from Emperor Ectoshock himself.

Pre-Set Preliminary

With the opportunity I can take at this time, I believe it is also time to show to you the very first challenge each team will be participating in come the preparation/starting time of the Chromatic Conquest Challenge (C3).

So we all know the deal - capture the Hubs, gain the turf, rack up the W's. So how do we determine who will get theirs first? Simple, and the explanation below will tell you how:

{2 Pairs of Teams will be assigned to obtain each of the signature sets from Bad Max & Don Doom in the Future. Whichever team can COLLECTIVELY (meaning it doesn't just have to be one person obtaining all of the items needed) require the Items assigned the most AND first will automatically claim the Suburb Hub with the most Sectors: Endsville. 2nd place will be rewarded with Peach Creek Commons and 3rd place will be rewarded Sector V/Heroes Square. Every team will have 3 days (or more, if chosen to extend the time) to complete this challenge, and to announce if you have completed it, you must find me in-game or @ me on Discord in the FoFM immediately to show your results. More details will be shown and discussed gradually.}
