Item Showcase: Cowpoke Boots

Keep your tired dogs from barkin' in level 21 comfort. Cowpoke Boots provide exceptional arch support for heroes on the go.
These boots are just as at ease in the Space Port as they are tromping through the Wilds. They send monsters and fellow heroes the message that you value nice looking footwear, but you're not into "fussy."
If you really love the western wear vibe, you better believe you can put together a whole outfit to match these boots. So giddyap, pardner! Those items won't collect themselves!

Area Bios: Dark Glade

Dark Glade Map
Dark Glade is an area in the Darklands known for being completely infected, an island of rock in the middle of a canyon, containing the Dark Tree infected zone, which, through its roots, spread the Fusion Matter infection underground. The Dark Tree itself is trying to fight off the infection from within, but it only ends up creating Ghastly Growths in the process. Through the combined efforts of Doctor JC and the Hero, the Dark Tree is slowly winning its battle with the infection. Here, Fusion Samurai Jack has been helping along the Dark tree's infection, Fusion Demongo has been stealing items of power to increase his strength, and Fusion Mandark is heading a Fusion Control Center.

In order to learn more about Fuse's plot to create an army of Fusion Kevins, Hoss Delgado instructed the hero to plant some Skull Basher brains at the base of the tree so that he could read the bashers' minds for information.

10,000 visits: What are my thoughts?

Today marks a great achivement in FFBs history, as today, June 26th, 2017, we have officially gotten 10,000 visits.
Im honestly surprised we managed to get this far. This just started as a small fan blog just for fun, but quickly grew into something bigger. Something which alot of people call a Passion Project, and im happy to say that im happy with it.

I just want to say THANK YOU to everyone who helped out into reaching this milestone, and just want to say that we wont stop anytime soon. Probably till Legacy is SUPER DEAD, but for now that aint happening (More FFR plz).

I quickly want to announce a little change of plans. Instead on focusing on the game primarily, we will start focusing on the community alot more too, such as opinions, rants and questions to be answered. The community for this game is very big and we want to add that into our pool of posts too.

Overall, just thanks for the support, big or small. We couldnt have gotten here without you all.

And now begins the trip to 15k!

Item Showcase: Zoomulus Cloud

As you probably know, vehicle rentals in FusionFall give players the option to ditch all that running on foot for a faster mode of travel. The Zoomulus Cloud is available for any player level 13 or above, and offers a supremely cushiony ride.

For the low, low price of 363 Taros, you can rent one of these puffy speedsters and cruise around in total comfort for a full 15 days.

Just talk to a rental associate at any Kevin's Hot Rod Rentals location -- Townsville Center, Mount Blackhead or Forsaken Valley. Kevin's friendly sales staff is ready to help you find the Cloud (or Jetbike or Hoverboard) to meet your vehicular needs.

Goat's Junk Yard (The Future) Map

The Future was an apocalyptic time period in the near future when Fuse has nearly conquered the world. Planet Fusion was closer to Earth than in The Past (proven by the "Run to the Future" glitch), and most areas found in the Past were destroyed after having been flooded by a sea of Fusion Matter. In addition, the liquid Fusion Matter seemed to had eaten away at the rest of the surface, putting the infected sea at a lower elevation. Certain areas of the Suburbs were connected by fragile wooden bridges between island-like areas, which are all that are left of the FusionFall universe in its time period.

In the Future, Sector V and more predominantly Peach Creek Commons had become the main hub and base of Fuse's resistance, and also where most special events were held. Most of the transportation systems were destroyed, as the incomple Slider System fell to pieces in Genius Grove; only two S.C.A.M.P.E.R.s and four Monkey Skyway Agents remain for the player's travel. Apart from the Tech Square tutorial, there are just five accessible infected zones with three Fusion Lairs among them, spread across eight areas. The Candy Cove Infected Zone, sunk below the ground, just half of Candy Cove itself eroded from Fusion Matter. On the other hand, the infection in Sector V's KND Training Area, which was the only place not shielded off in the past, grew into an Infected Zone.

When first beginning FusionFall, the player is thrown into The Future due to an error caused by Dee Dee while testing Dexter's time machine. The player learns that Fuse has almost destroyed Earth, and is given a short tutorial with Computress, Ben Tennyson, and Numbuh Five, on the basics of playing the game, such as running, jumping, looking around, and fighting.

After the tutorial, the player is given a Lightning Gun rifle and is thrust into the middle of the battle of Tech Square, where many FusionFall heroes are fighting for what's left of Tech Square. The player must defeat three Fusion Spawns and a Cyberus, and then complete two Training missions, one for Numbuh Two, and a mission to earn one’s first Nano, Buttercup, by defeating Fusion Buttercup.
After warping out of the Fusion Lair, the player lands on top of Dexter's house, where a Tech Wing stands in one’s way of the means of escape ― a KND S.C.A.M.P.E.R. The player must use the Buttercup Nano to stun the Tech Wing, before narrowly escaping Tech Square as it sinks into the Fusion Matter, taking many heroes with it, including Blossom, Bubbles, Numbuh One, Ben Tennyson, Dexter, and Larry 3000, whose head is dumped in the Goat's Junk Yard infected zone.
Dexter sends a final message to the heroes stating that he is "fine", and that the war is far from over. He explains that between Numbuh 2 and Mandark, the time machine can be repaired to send the player to the Past. You then go to Sector V in order to begin the real adventure.

During their time in the Future, players will receive Guide Missions that will involve repairing the time machine. Once level 4 is reached, the mission Time to Go becomes available, in which the player uses the time machine to go to the past after saying farewell to the NPCs that are there to send them off.

Character Bios: Stickybeard (Codename: Kids Next Door)

Stickybeard
Stickybeard is the captain of the Candy Pirates, who travels the world searching for and stealing candy. He is a major enemy of the Kids Next Door, and a particular enemy of Numbuh Five, with whom he nevertheless shares a mutual respect.

When the invasion of Earth began, Stickybeard lost his ship, the Sweet Revenge, to Planet Fusion. In the Future, a generic NPC named "Licorice Lips" seems to have taken Stickybeard's place as the highest ranking crew member at Candy Cove, but someone by the name of Captain Brock Candy has assumed his place as Captain. It may be presumed that Stickybeard fell in the initial battles in the war between Fuse and Earth. Furthermore, in the Future a candy pirate named Root Canal Rita claims that Stickybeard disappeared while looking for a new ship and crew. In the Past, a Candy Pirate at Bravo Beach mentions that Stickybeard once stole Captain K'nuckles hat.

In the past, he gives missions concerning traitors within his crew and finding his candy treasure. He tells the player and Edd the story behind the crazy brain candy. He also thwarts Brittle Butter's plan to sell Stickybeard's candy to Father by replacing the detail note with a note from himself

Item Showcase: Genie Shoes

Strolling around in regulation footwear is so last year. Good thing we've got these fancy kicks to keep your hero style interesting!

The level 22 Genie Shoe is a perfect marriage of fun and function. Super grippy non-skid soles ensure you never miss a step while battling Fusions. Color-blocked detailing adds flair to every jump.

This Uncommon item is tradable, so while these might be hard to find, you can wheel and deal with a fellow hero to get them... if you find someone willing to part with such distinctive shoes!

Area Bios: Goat´s Junk Yard (The Future)

Goat's Junk Yard (The Future) Map

Goat's junkyard is a place from the show, Megas XLR. You can find Megas in the Infected Zone, trapped in his fusion prison, as so in the past. This is the only Infected Zone in The Future to be the only place where Fusion Monsters roam in an area.

Samurai Jack was formerly found here, but he was moved to Peach Creek Estates. Now, Goat's Junk Yard is the only area in the Future (along with Pokey Oaks South) to have no NPCs other than the SACT Agents.

POTD Analysis: (Season 2 Week 4) Swashbuckler Spawns!

A week full of Fusion Spawns with Swashbuckler hats? CUTE!

Lets just get straight to the point.

PIC #1: Tall Grass
In FFL, there will be tall grass, which it seems some enemies will be able to use and hide in them to do a surprise attack. Pretty neat stuff huh?

Anyways, as we later on see on the POTD´s, these are Fusion Spawns with a Swashbuckler hat, or also known as "Swashbuckler Spawns". Judging by the name and design its most likely they will be in Candy Cove. Also the skybox for Candy Cove looks different.

PIC #2: Ambush!
This next one shows all 3 types of Swashbuckler spawns, which are Adaptium, Blastons and Cosmix from left to right. Aside from them all of the same details are seen here.

PIC #3: The Boss
The final pic shows the boss of the Swashbuckler Spawns, which we will call for now "Pirate Spawn". Having a big and menacing pirate hat he leads the Swashbuckler Spawns. His hat doesnt show any of the Nano types, which either means hes inmune to boosts of Nano Types (advantages and disadvanteges), or just a detail to signify that hes the strongest of the group.

We know there werent much details to cover here, but thats all that we could find! What do you all think? Thanks for reading, and ill see yall next week!

Item Showcase: Stinkfly Wings

Accessories like this don't come along every day. Previously only given to a small number of contest winners, this insectoid marvel is now available to all heroes -- FREE!
And the really good news? These wings come with none of the drawbacks of actually being Stinkfly. You don't need to fear water. You won't smell terrible. (How do you think he got that name, anyway?) Your wings will not be dangerously delicate. On the other hand, this item won't give you Stinkfly's speed or strength, but it will look incredibly cool with any ourfit.
If you want in on this bugged-out hero style, all you have to do is get this pair of wings!
Got your wings? Good. Now get in there and defend the universe!

Character Bios: Kevin (Ben 10)

Kevin
Kevin Ethan Levin is a former nemesis of Ben Tennyson and one of the main three characters of Ben 10: Alien Force. He can absorb the properties of any surface and use them to fight with, which later states him as a hybrid-osmosian. Previously, he was one of Ben's most hated rivals as he tried to absorb the power of Ben's Omnitrix. He succeeded, only to result in his human form permanently mutated into a freakish combination of all ten of Ben's aliens. He returned in Ben 10: Alien Force after being left in the Null Void since his last appearance. His DNA had later stabilized and he returned to his human self. He is now Ben and Gwen Tennyson's ally as they fight the DNAliens and enemies new and old.

Tired of guerilla tactics, Kevin decided it was time he took the war directly to Fuse's lair. With the help of the Hero, he was able to collect some samples of the local Fusion Spawns, and absorbed their Fusion Matter, hoping to match Fuse's strength.

Unfortunately, Kevin's plan backfired, and Fuse gained control over him by means of the absorbed Fusion Matter. Under Fuse's control, Kevin tricked the Hero into attaching a device to Foster's Home in order to transfer Imaginary Energy to Fuse's lair in the Darklands for study. Fortunately, Dexter was able to uncover the plot, and was able to slow down the transfer and free Kevin from Fuse's control. Dexter was unable to stop the transfer completely, however, because doing so would prove fatal to the Imaginary Friends. Nonetheless, the transfer seems to have slackened after Billy got into Fusion Kevin's lair in the Green Maw. Fuse continues to use Kevin by using car keys stolen from him to produce an army of Fusion counterparts that resemble eleven-year-old Kevin's giant alien form in Fuse's Lair.

Nano Stations can be found all across the FusionFall world in various of areas. Area bios: Genius Grove (The Future)

Genius Grove (The Future) Map
The future version of Genius Grove is one of the lowest levels in the game. Some of the remains of the Slider System can be found lodged into the ground. A wormhole in the northwest part of the area has gotten unstable and grown to a large size. Vilgax recently traveled here from The Past to find items he would later use to sabotage Ben's Omnitrix. Dee Dee is in Dexter's old house, as stated by a Dexbot. Mandark used to be here, but then he was moved to Peach Creek Estates (The Future) along with the second Warp Gate to the Time Lab.

POTD Analysis: New Features! (Week 3)

So... Hows it going?
Sorry for the huge hiatus in the series. Had some life and school things happening, but im back and ready to analyze more than ever!
To make things simpler, we will continue where we left off in Season 2, to make things easier and so you all can catch up on what you all missed! Lets begin with Week 3, where it showcases many new features and design changes!

PIC #1: Blossom and new Toon Shader!
Our 1st pic shows the differences between the old and new Toon Shader. While it is a still image, it still looks amazing, and im excited to see it once its animated :)
Blossom changed a little bit. Its clothing is a bit of a lighter pink, and her skin is a little more light.

PIC #2: New emotes and poses.
Our 2nd pic shows Allison in a new pose never before seen, which is a new pose. Theres a few differences on the background, most notable being the fences, which look more transparent than the original. Past that these chairs look more detailed.

PIC #3: Major Enemy Change.
Enemies will now have a different design to signify what nano type to use for each! Very neat, and very useful. We can see the Adaptium variant in the front, followed by the Cosmix and Blastons variants on the back. What about the one at the very back, dark and evil looking? Hes confirmed to be the boss of the monster. What type it has or how we will fight it is unknown right now, but we do know that it will be much tougher and have more health than its minions.

The area here is Candy Cove, outside of Sweet Revenge, which is looking more green, and theres even fusion matter making a sea (or river?) at the bottom. The bubble protecting the place is also completely different to the original.

And thats my analysis on Week 3 of POTD! There wasnt much to analyze, mainly because these showcased features and changes rather than major changes to zones or characters, but i still hope you enjoyed it.

Thanks for reading! See you all next week!
~Cherry =)

FusionFall Videos: The Tutorial!

FusionFall´s Tutorial is pretty good. If ya dont remember it, check this video out!

Item Showcase: Holo Suit

This week, we're spotlighting an entire outfit instead of just one item. Why? Because as part of our Halloween Spooktacular, we're introducing the all-new Holosuit!

The Holosuit takes on different looks depending on what holiday is near. Right now, the Holosuit is displaying a wraith outfit of glowing green skeleton bones. Once the Halloween celebration is over, however, the Holosuit will revert to its neutral state.

Keep that outfit! It has surprises in store for upcoming holidays. If you use the Croc Pot Catering Company to upgrade your Holosuit, it will retain those stats no matter what it looks like. So it's worth making your suit the best it can be. When it automatically updates its look for the next holiday, it'll be just as strong as it is now. (Or better if you upgrade it in between holidays!)
