Where ive been.

Hey everyone! Ive got way busy with school recently so i havent been able to post too much. Im sorry.

Another reason is because there havent been much news. The FFR Alpha Update thread was recently locked down, with supposed "upcoming news", so we will see where that takes us.

Im still alive, but havent have time to post here. Will do later as soon as there are more FFR and FFL news tho!

Item Showcase: Bloo Bubblehead

Bloo Bubblehead
This weeks item showcase is the Bloo Bubblehead!

Based on the Noods era from CN, this head will make you look like the blue devil that is Bloo! Be careful though, as Fuse´s monsters may get confused and capture you due to them having an attraction to imaginary energy, which this bubblehead is made out of.

The FusionFall Weekly #4: PvZ Heroes & polls!

Welcome to the 4th edition of The FusionFall Weekly, a weekly series to tell you all of the recent and interesting news in the FF universe! This week wasnt filled with much stuff in the FF universe, but rather with blog news and plans! Lets see everything this week had to offer.

-Poll: FFR Missions?
This week we did a poll both on Twitter and on the blog about a very interesting question:
Should we do an FFR mission series but without editing (music, speeding it up, SFX, etc)?

The results were an oustanding positive reception, with 0 No votes and all being Yes. The poll is still on the blog right now, so you can go ahead and vote there, but the Twitter poll did tell alot.

As a result of this, we will do a test video later this next week to see how you all react to this, and will begin doing mission videos once FFR releases missions. So happy to see how you all responded to this great idea, and cant wait to start doing it.

To give yall an idea of how its gonna be, you can check out this video done by the amazing Legomegazord, which is a mission uncut, not sped up and without music.

Legomegazord names these videos with an "HQ" tag. This is the way our vids will be done, but will do ALL of the FFR missions, including Nano Missions.

-Plants vs. Zombies Heroes Impfinity and Citron decks!
Recently on my twitter i shared these 2 decks for a card game called Plants Vs. Zombies Heroes, which i play. You can go check those out by clicking the links below. Ima start adding these into the FusionFall Weekly rather than making them their own post, because these deck guides will use the same format i used back when i did the PvZH blog (Decklist, idea, the cards, replacements, conclusion)
Impfinity Valkyrie + Laser Base Alpha deck guide can be checked out here.

Citron Nut deck can checked out here.

-Item Showcase: Football-Helmet
This weeks item can be used to protect your head while fighting Fuses monsters, and of course look neat in a Sports outfit.
Check it out here.

-Tip Corner: Target Reticle
Nanos have a targeting reticle!
Nano targeting
When you summon a Nano to help you battle Fusion monsters, you'll be able to see exactly when that monster is targeted by the Nano. A large circular targeting reticle will appear over your enemy.

If a monster is in range of both your Nano and your weapon, the Nano targeting circle will appear inside the weapon's targeting square. This targeting feature is super handy for those times you want to sneak up on a Fusion beast and stun it before it can attack. Since your Nano may have a longer range than your weapon, you can put the whammy on the enemy and then launch an all-out attack before it even knows you're there! You should start practicing with this targeting system immediately.

-Lets Talk! The strongest character in the FF universe?
Have you ever wondered what the strongest character in the FF universe is? Quite a few people have, and i would like to put my 2 cents into that.

Lets start with powers. You could say that its Ben 10 since he can transform into multiple aliens with different abilities to defeat Fuse´s monsters, but even with that some of Fuse´s biggest and strongest baddies could probably take him down, like Don Doom.

Then we have characters with gadgets. Maybe it could be Mojo Jojo with his multiple gadgets and weapons that can adapt and be ready for any situation. The same can be said to Dexter, as he also has alot of gadgets to use. Same deal with the KND kids. The problem here is that Fuse´s monsters can adapt and even use weapons against them, like with robotic-like monsters, or Fusions, like Fusion Dexter who probably has the same gadgets as Dexter, if not more powerful.

In terms of strength. Samurai Jack has a sword and has been seen taking on large groups of enemies, so he could be a good candidate to be the strongest. If talking strength in GROUPS, we have Fosters Home and its large quantities of Imaginary friends, but maybe they dont want to be put in danger as Fuse WANTS imaginary energy (Yes that a plot thing).

I think Samurai Jack or characters with access to technology and gadgets have a strong chance to be the strongest. This is just my opinion, so tell me. Who do you think is the strongest?

New poll! Should we make a FFR mission series but without speeding it up or adding music?

By this i mean what Legomegazord did back in the day (hes a really popular FF youtuber btw), but without the editing and just raw gameplay.

Go vote on it NOW! We need your opinion.

Expect a new poll every week from now on :)

Item Showcase: Football Helmet

With football season in full swing, heroes of all levels will want a head accessory with total touchdown style.

The perfect solution: the level 1 Football Helmet. Easy to get (check in with the E.G.G.E.R. at the KND Tree House), easy to wear.

Remember, the great thing about accessories is that they don't affect your stats, so if you want to show your love of the game right up to that level 36 battle in Lord Fuse's lair, go for it!
Get some quarterback style of your own -- PLAY NOW!

Blog Update: What happened to the other blogs?

As some may have noticed, we completely removed both the PvZ Heroes and UB Funkeys Blogs. Theres a good reason for this.

The more simple one, UB Funkeys, was simply too repetitive in its content, and we knew it wouldnt have lasted long. Aside from that the game was just D E A D, so theres very little point to talk about it now.

As for the PvZ Heroes blog, it was all simply because of its long posts, which would make it hell for us to work on 3 blogs at the same time. Ultimately, we decided to stop working on the 2 and focus here from now on.

Dont worry though! Im planning on making PvZ Heroes deck posts here and on the twitter, so if you are a fan of that then stay tuned for more.

Now for sad news...
I return to school this Monday 24th, as a result posts may slow down, but not by much im sure. Wish you all luck in school too :)

The FusionFall Weekly #3: RETRO, Universe and Blog updates, and more!

Welcome to the 3rd edition of The FusionFall Weekly (2 weeks and a day late -.-), a weekly recap of everything that happened over the week on The FusionFall Blog, RETRO, Legacy and Universe. Lets begin!
Our news this week:
- FusionFall RETRO is out! Sort of...
- POTD: Grand Finale #2
- Updates: Chromatic Conquest and FFR Group Photo.
- Pages Gadget is back!
- FusionFall Assets Pack!
- Monster Bios: Sewer Creeper.
- Tip Corner: Morbucks Savings and Loan.
-  Lets Talk! A funny theory of mine.

FusionFall RETRO is out! Sort of...
FusionFall Retro Logo
RETRO has released! As like an alpha version you could say, since only the Tutorial is playable, with a walk and talk Future world coming soon.

Check out the Round-Up Post here.

Check out the 4th update over here.

You can check the FFU Forums thread about info and updates here.

We also released the 1st part of our FFR Playthrough, which you can check here.

POTD: Grand Finale #2!

Another season of POTD has come to a close, most likely to work on developing stuff for Legacy and so people focus on RETRO. My guess is that they will return in September or October. We will have to wait and see.

This one shows our heroes fighting an oil ogre and Fusion Buttercup. The best part is that you can get a desktop version too! Now thats cool.

Get it here.

Updates: Chromatic Conquest and FFR Group Photo
To be honest, we should have seen this coming.

The Chromatic Conquest and the Group Photo have been delayed till RETRO is multiplayer. Im guessing Chromatic Conquest will be delayed a bit more till monsters are implemented but its just a guess.

You can check more on this by checking out the FFB post here, or check out the full Chromatic Conquest FFU thread by clicking here

Pages gadget is back!
The pages gadget is back after some changing. Expect more pages to be added later alongside updates to our current ones. This also means that the FusionFall Chat is back!

Go check it out here

FusionFall Assets pack!
We released a FusionFall assets pack to use in projects and fan made blogs!
Go ahead and download it here.

Monster Bios: Sewer Creeper
These guys certainly are creepy, and very tough.

Check out their bio here

Tip Corner. Morbucks Savings and Loans
It's easy to store your in-game gear at Morbucks Savings and Loan!

If you have more cool items than you know what to do with, but you don't want to sell or trade them, it's time to use your Bank Vault. Since your My Stuff pack has limited space, it's not practical to carry around every item you get while playing.

News20Morbucks Savings and Loan is FusionFall's trusted institution for your storage needs. Every hero who jumps into the fight against Fuse is automatically issued a Bank Vault for stashing extra stuff.Bankers are conveniently located throughout the world, near vendors. They have an icon hovering over them that looks like a sack of money with a letter B on it. You can access the items in your vault by clicking on any Banker you find, so it's easy to take advantage of this handy storage system. The first Banker you'll encounter is located in the Cul-de-Sac.

To add items to your vault, click on the Banker, then click on the Bank button to open your vault. Drag items into your vault, or click on the item and then click Move to Vault. Moving items from your vault into your My Stuff pack works exactly the same way. Before you know it, you'll have a vault loaded with your favorite items!

Lets Talk! A Funny Theory of mine
Theorizing can be fun! And i think i have come up with a fun story for RETROs release of only having the Tutorial. Listen up boys!

It starts all like in the game, but while making your way to Sector V, the S.C.A.M.P.E.R malfunctions and it crash lands on a lake of Fusion Matter. Dexter, who in our theory will be alive, is now trying to figure out a way to get the S.C.A.M.P.E.R to reach Sector V without malfunctioning. The black screen at the end of the tutorial hides the death of the heroes in the S.C.A.M.P.E.R because thats too dark for kids.

And thats something new to add to your headcannon. I hope you liked it.

Monster Bios: Sewer Creeper

The Sewer Creeper is found in Peach Creek Estates (The Future). These guys are very tough, and have a moldy texture to them, alongside pipes around their bodies. They also have a menacing look, hence the name "Sewer Creeper".

They arent too tough to take out, but they can be in groups, which can also contain their boss, Sewer Stalker. A Shattergun is good enough to deal with them, but alone a pistol or rifle are good options.

Be careful with their Corruption Attack, which drains a Nanos stamina drastically. When you see a glow start appearing on them, quickly switch to a different Nano to absorb it. Absorbing it also gives that Nano a Stamina boost.

FFR: Update 4!

We got another update to the upcoming Multiplayer version of FFR. Here are the details:

"The Future and multiplayer are soon upon us! We've been hard at work putting everything in place for multiplayer and a "walk and talk" experience through the Future. We don't have a release date just yet, but it shouldn't be too much longer. Once we get this release out, other core features shouldn't be too far off!"

If you dont know, it will just release as a Walking and Talking experience first, with monsters, missions and more added later.

Lets Play! FusionFall RETRO Part 1: The Tutorial

After a year of waiting for RETRO to release, its finally here as an early access build with the Tutorial. Heres the 1st part of our RETRO Walkthrough! Enjoy!

POTD 28/07/2017: The Grand Finale #2

(Click on the image for a desktop wallpaper version!.)

"The fight is on! That's it for this set, but when we return we'll have even more awesome pictures! See you all next time!"

RETRO Round-up: EARLY ACCESS!

RETRO finally came out, but not in the way we think.
You see, instead of getting all of the Future, we were gonna get a Talk and Walk sim, but PROBLEMS, as in database and some coding problems, which prevented the Future map to be implemented, as a result the only thing released was the Tutorial.

The game released on the 2nd of August, and not the 1st. Heres the devblog:
We're so happy to announce our target release date for FusionFall Retro!

During the evening of August 1st 2017, we ran into an issue that caused our Database Library to break, leaving us unable to implement the key features needed for a full release of FusionFall Retro. While this may seem like a major setback, we’re only expecting resolving the issue to take a week or two.

After we discovered this, we quickly shifted gears in order to ensure that you, the FusionFall Universe community, were still able to get a dose of FusionFall Retro within the time frame we promised. Introducing: The FusionFall Retro - Early Access Client!

Please note that this build is highly experimental!

This build is not guaranteed to work on your computer and the servers will not always be available for use.  You may also need minor computer skills to get it up and running! For detailed information on troubleshooting, please visit our forum thread for details.
Please note that it is our intention to make running the game much simpler for the full release.

FusionFall Retro Experimental Early Access Information

For our initial Retro launch, we were unable to make our mark of releasing our goal as a result of a library issue with our database, and for that, we are truly sorry. We intend to squash this bug within a week or two and get you guys into the Future! That said, we're able offer a unique experience through the FusionFall Retro Early Access sneak peak. This is a custom of Retro with the tutorial section of the game fully operational!

Here are some important things to note:

1. In order to install and run the Early Access experience, you must have a version of Windows. Any version below 7 is currently untested.

2. When installing, we recommend making sure any anti-virus or malware software is disabled to ensure that the client installs correctly.

3. Run the installer in administrator mode. You can do this by right clicking the file and selecting “Run as Administrator”

4. Make sure you have the latest version of Microsoft's .NET Framework installed.

5. If you're missing VCRUNTIME140.dll, having Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 installed could potentially solve the issue.

6. Before you log in, make sure you have a FusionFall Universe account. You’ll use your website password to enter the game. You should also ensure the Servers are up. You can check the status via this thread.

7. Track pads (commonly found on laptops) are currently not supported.

8. If you have an issue with your camera spinning in circles, try unplugging or disconnecting controllers or any other input devices.

Please note that all of these requirements will be simplified before the full release, for an easier playing experience for everyone. This build is intended to help us test.

This build lets you play from Character Creation up through the end of the tutorial, which is signified by a black screen. (If your mouse gets locked on this screen, press the enter key to unlock it. From there, you can close the game window.) Players can not go any further than this at the current time. Character data is also not saved at this time. That said, you’re free to run through as many times as you want!

This build is experimental. You can expect crashing, bugs, and more to be present when using the Early Access build.

Please keep all troubleshooting and bug reports limited to this thread! We’ll be trying our best to see what works and what doesn’t, and keeping it all here helps us out a ton!

We appreciate everyone’s patience in with Retro’s release. It’s been a bumpy ride, but we’re very close to delivering the full Retro experience! Stay tuned for more info!

We urge you to read the full post before downloading!

We are currently having connectivity issues, and we'll be working on correcting them throughout the day! Please be patient!

Luckily, 2 days later, the problems got fixed, and as of writting this the team is working to put the Future map ASAP. We will probably see it in a few days.

Go check the thread in the forums to get any help that you may need in downloading and problems. Expect the 1st part of my walkthrough tomorrow!

FusionFall Legacy and RETRO Round-Up (and other stuff)

While we were gone, crazy things started to happen!

Legacy has ended its 2nd set of POTDs, with more coming later. Most likely by September or October.

RETRO on the other hand has finally RELEASED! But its just the Tutorial. This needs its own post as its alot to cover, but... TL;DR: Problems arouse, so instead of the whole Future, we got a Walk and Talk UNTIL a few more things came and it became just the Tutorial. These issues were resolved and the whole Future will come soon.

As of now, The Chromatic Conquest and the Group Pic havent gotten updates. Really weird, but i guess we will need to wait.

Our schedule will reset tomorrow, and we will begin our FFR Walkthrough! The RETRO round-up post alongside the Legacy POTD post will come very soon. Stay Tuned!
