The FusionFall Blog: News, Updates and 2018 and beyond.

Hey everyone.

You may have noticed that we have gone silent for some time now, and im here to explain why and what will happen in the future going forward.

For those who have followed or subbed to me on Youtube, you may know that im still active there, so why the silence here? Life.
Making YT videos is easier for me at the moment since it takes less time. You see, ive been studying and making proyects for school every week since the start of the month, so ive had less time to make blog posts, since they take more time to write and think about, in comparison to a YT video which i can make alot faster.
In short, ive been very busy with outside stuff recently, which includes school, family and other personal stuff. I wont say what but its been one hell of a ride this month.

Another big reason is that blogging doesnt interest me as much as it did before. So much so that all the fun ive had blogging was transferred to my YT videos. As of now YT has been one of my most favorite and fun things to do in such a long time. We are even about to reach 100 subs!

Now now, does this mean i will stop blogging? No. Not at all. Blogging is the main way ive found traction and its my favorite way to comunicate, inform and talk with you all, so im not gonna stop blogging anytime soon.

What i am going to do is put priority on Youtube. I have the great feeling that my channel can get traffic and can gain popularity, albeit at a really slow rate, but this doesnt mean i will stop posting here. In fact with the latest FFR devblog (check it out HERE) it seems we are closer than ever to release, so i will definitely not stop blogging or talking about FusionFall either here or in Youtube.

I wanna talk about Fusionfall both here and in Youtube, alongside my other random content i put on YT. I just wanna have variety rather than talking about the same all the time (which was the initial plan for my YT: All FusionFall content)

FusionFall is still a priority on my channel, but i do wanna mix it up and add random videos and other stuff here and there, and i wanna try to do that here too.

TL;DR: Im gonna focus on YT at the moment, but i will not stop blogging as RETRO is closer to getting released. I wanna mix up content both here and in YT.

I will still continue to blog, but not as much as before. YT is my priority at the moment until RETRO releases, and in the meanwhile i will mix up the FusionFall videos and posts with other stuff.

Thanks for reading and hope you all have a great day!

TTR Invasion 2.0 POTD: Friendly Cogs?

"Some other cogs, however, changed completely! Unless you try to engage them of course"

TTR Invasion 2.0 POTD: Telemarketer... Or not?

"Some Cogs got too close to Fusion Matter, that their face melted! Guess thats a lesson learnt the hard way."

TTR Invasion 2.0 POTD: Cold... Caller?

"While Fusion Matter has infected Cogs in weird ways, some are even weirder, like the Cold Callers and Short Changes, which basically now have scribble faces."

Fusion Matter… Such an interesting material…

Recently we have been experimenting with Fusion Matter on living things and testing their effects. So far all experiments have made the living test subject aggresive and uncontrollable.

One in particular has recently and suddenly dissapeared off my lab. I have not been able to piece together how or why it did it, but i can confirm that it was a test subject as a plant. Maybe the Fusion Matter made it break out?

No Matter what, i will continue to analyze Fusion Matter and investigate the whereabouts of this plant.

FFR Devblog: Revised Mob Drops!

This update covers our hefty revision of monster drops and how they more accurately reflect the original game.

You may remember our prior update on monster drops that explained a slightly different system in place from the original game. We initially thought it would be impossible to replicate how the original game handled item drops from monsters due to insufficient data. After hearing your feedback, we decided it necessary to dedicate time to further research, and we’ve managed to map out just about every important item from the game and where to find them.

Through some due diligence, we’ve found a plethora of item drop information online that fans had cobbled together. After devising a way to properly handle and incorporate specific monster drops, as well as ensuring the accuracy of all of the item drop information we acquired, each monster was assigned 4 possible crate drops ranging from Common to Sooper Dooper. Though some monsters share drops, that’s over 350 monster drops using roughly 1,400 unique Crates!

Once the Crate drops were in place, each set of Crates then had to be assigned a list of items that could be received after opening the Crate. There’s now over 2,200 items each assigned to sets of Crates based on level, rarity, and if we were able to find information on said item. For example, many hardcore grinders from back in the day might remember that the Ben 10 Jacket could be received from the level 36 Meteoric Guardians. This holds true in Retro! Keep in mind that we weren’t able to find information on some items because they either weren’t documented accurately or because players simply didn’t document them at all.

Also, certain items were only obtainable from monsters players only got one shot at, like Fusion Numbuh Four. These items have been placed in more appropriate Crates in hopes of further balancing the game. Certain mission items were also included for this reason.
It’s important to note that while all of this work was done by hand and took an insane amount of time, it did not set back the overall progress of the game. Devan and a few other team members have spent upwards of 16 hours working on all of this while other features were developed in tandem. We hope to be showing these off soon.

See you for the next update!

TTR Invasion 2.0 POTD: Cog Building Exterior

"Cog Buildings are known for being the thing Cogs use to take over Toontown, just like Terrafusers, except these can be destroyed with some toons going inside and taking on the Cogs and the Boss of the building on the highest floor"
