Round-Up Post: Latest FFR news and info!

ALRIGHT, so with my time out from the blog, it didnt mean i didnt play Retro. Far from it actually!

Before i give out my stories though, lets review some of the latest news from the FFR world.

To begin, on August 24th the 1st patch was made to the game. You can read it here:

Basically, the update added all the player features, including Trading, Groups and Buddies. E-mail wasnt and hasnt been added yet, but its expected to be released sometime after the Past is out.

Also, some NPCs were relocated and "new" missions were added... I say "new" because these were actually removed in the current version of the OG FusionFall, but thanks to some coding they were finally readded.

Combat got reworked. Some bugs were fixed and it was overall a great update.


The 2nd patch was made on August 29th, and this one included a few bug fixes. Nothing to major but better than nothing.

We have an event going on atm called "The Time Squad" event, where Time Squad members would go around the FF world and give out special items! These items are 2010 themed, and are the 2010 Glasses and 2010 Hat.

The event however seems to be on hold, as the team is putting all their effort into getting the Past released. There seems to be some Time Squad members still around, and they go to popular locations, like the Cul-De-Sac and the KND treehouse, but also hang around sneaky and hidden areas.

So far the prices for both items fluctuate alot, but ive pinpointed them.
Glasses: 30k-50k + Taros. These are really rare, as they seem to have only been given out during the 1st day of the event. I managed to snatch some myself at 15k during the 1st and 2nd day however, but doubt you can find those at that price anymore.

Hat: 15k-30k + Taros. This one is far more common, and you can probably find it for cheaper. I managed to get one for free via the event, but good luck for those buying them!

Now i wanna touch upon another topic briefly, but i insist on Briefly, as i might want to make a post all about it.
Youve probably seen it, and it can get quite annoying: Egg campers


Those people who will camp the Golden Egg, especially the one at Peach Creek Estates, and completely take it over.
I hate them, you probably hate them, but theres no need to panic.
Other than the Omnitrix Shoes, which honestly arent that cool anyways lol, you can get its other items via trading.
Here are the prices and the items in question.

Delightful Football Helmet: 1k-5k Taros. Cheap and easy to get. This and the other item cant be worn rn however because they are lvl 5.

Nergal Tendrils: 5k-15k Taros +. The best item in the game hands down lol. I just had to get one for all my characters ok?

And finally, the elephant in the room... When is the Past releasing?

As of now the date is unknown, but the devs are working as fast as possible to get it done. Please, dont bother the forums with questions about the release, because the devs dont know, but are working hard at getting the game out.

For progress however, it seems like its just the Fusion Lairs and some Missions, but thats according to the forums, and some stuff should be taken with a grain of salt.

RUMOR: There have been some rumors regarding the release date, with some stating that its most likely releasing in October. Where has this claim come up? Discord Servers.

You see, the devs hang out in Discord Servers, and there they usually give out some hints or info regarding development. Both the old missions being re-added and the Time Squad event were both rumors that originated there, but later on turned out to be true.

While this is most likely a prediction, it should still be taken with a grain of salt, as Discord info is usually not reliable, even from a dev, which could be making a prediction.
