Character Bios: Juniper Lee (The Life And Times Of Juniper Lee)

Juniper Lee
Juniper Lee is an 11-year old girl and the newest in the line of the Te-Xuan-Ze, the person that upholds the balance between the world of humans and monsters of the magical realm, by protecting Orchid Bay. To protect Orchid Bay from the many monsters that live there, she has been granted enhanced strength, speed, agility and a control over magical spells. The price for this, however, is that she has been rendered unable to leave the city until one of her descendants takes her place.

In FusionFall, June originally did not want to participate in the war, as she said she didn't fight aliens, but she investigated the invasions and found that the invasion was a threat to both man and magic, which got her to join the fight. Though her status as the Te-Xuan-Ze should have prevented her from leaving Orchid Bay, she is actually found in Nowhere in the Wilds. The only major NPC in Orchid Bay is Grim, whom Juniper refers to as her friend, meaning that there is a possibility that she made a "deal with Death" which allowed her to leave the city. Please note that since she is not found in the Future, she is believed to have been killed by Fuse when the invasion got worse, though there is no actual proof of this.

Juniper's missions mainly involve helping with the invasion around Nowhere. She also helps the player out during the Totems plotline by figuring out a way to activate every totem at the same time instead of activating them one by one.

Did You Know Fusionfall? Nano and Monster Types

Nano and Monster Types play a big role in FusionFall. Monsters and Nanos are divided into three types, each made out of a slightly different type of Fusion Matter - Adaptium (A), Blastons (B) or Cosmix (C).

Type Combat
Type A's trump type B's, type B's trump type C's, and type C's trump type A's.
Each Nano falls under one of the three types, each Monster does, too. These different types trump one another very much like a game of rock/paper/scissors. When you're fighting a monster, it is advised that you pay attention to what type of monster it is. The Nano you have active during combat can either help you or hurt you.
By utilizing the right nano in combat, you can reflect a monster's corruption attack and damage it instead.

You should always try using a Nano that beats the monster type you are fighting. The monster's type is shown on the monster indicator on the top of your screen, while the Nano's type is shown on the NanoCom on the lower-right of your screen. You will also see an icon next to the monster that will tell you if your active Nano is the is the best type of Nano for defeating that monster. If you see a green check-mark, you will get a bonus against that monster; if you see an equal sign, neither you nor the monster will get a bonus; and if you see a red x, the monster will get a bonus against you.

Weird notes from... HIM (And some updates)

Recently, our pre leader sent us a message. It was very weird, and i think it got HACKED while it was sent. His 2nd message is where we talked to HIM, and later on it got HACKED AGAIN! We need help here to decode the messages, which are found here.

1ST Message: https://thefusionfallblog.blogspot.mx/2017/05/blog-post.html
2nd Message: https://thefusionfallblog.blogspot.mx/2017/05/aamii-aaaaaaaaaa.html

As you heard at the start: IM OFFICIALLY THE NEW LEADER OF THE PVZH BLOG AND THE FF BLOG.

Our previous leader chose to quit after... Questionable things. I have now taken the place of leader of the blogs, while Snow is keeping his position of leader of the UB Funkeys blog.
I can safely guarantee better content from here on!

Also, Cherry Blossom and Sergeant Cacti are back and ready to do some guides and analysis´to you! Cherry is working her butt off to get them up and ready before the next couple of POTDs. She will start with the last few before she left for personal reasons. Cacti also had to leave for educational reasons, which he calls "Vacations". Weird.

Anyways, we need your help! Good Luck!

Area Bios: Peach Creek Commons (The Future)

Peach Creek Commons (The Future) Map
Peach Creek Commons is the area in which the Cul-de-Sac and the Trailer Park are located in The Future. Edd made a cardboard box fort around the Cul-de-Sac that protects the neighborhood from Fuse's monsters due to the Imaginary Energy eminated from the cardboard. However, in The Future, the state of the Cul-de-Sac is as bad as any of the remaining areas. The Park 'n' Flush north of here, home of the Kankers, has been cleared leaving fusion monsters.

RuinedKankerTrailer
The Kanker trailer in the future
The Great Machine was moved from City Hall to here some time between the past and future. Eduardo can also be found here, being one of the few heroes who has survived up to that point, and due to the destruction of Foster's Home in The Future.

Peach Creek Commons is north of Candy Cove (The Future), west of Peach Creek Estates (The Future) and east of Pokey Oaks North (The Future). It comes originally from Ed, Edd n Eddy as the neighborhood in which the title characters have their suburban adventures.

Item Spotlight: Felt Hat

Don't let the plain name fool you - the level 13 Felt Hat is truly high style!

Not only will this hat make you look taller, it also commands respect. It adds a distinguished air to any ensemble and takes you from the battle field to the ballroom with ease.

The circuitry detailing on the crown is meticulously embroidered by the finest artisans of the Cartoon Network Universe, because hand crafted finery never goes out of style.

So let Fuse's minions just try to attack you, then show them that "dignified" doesn't mean "dainty."

Character Bios: Fuzzy Lumkins (The Powerpuff Girls)

Fuzzy Lumkins

Fuzzy Lumkins is a strange pink fuzzy creature that behaves like a Redneck. He is extremely territorial, and will attack anyone trespassing on his property by shouting, "Get offa my propity!" and shooting at whomever is trespassing. On his free time he likes to play Jo, his banjo. He appears in the show The Powerpuff Girls and was, in fact, the very first Powerpuff Girls villain to appear on Cartoon Network.

In FusionFall, he used to live in solitary out in the forests of Leakey Lake, but the Fusion invasion has managed to affect him by poisoning the nearby forests and lakes with Fusion Matter, and forcing him from his old cabin up to one higher up from the infected lake.

Though he is antisocial, Fuzzy has helped in the fight against Fuse in more ways than one. After much coaxing, Fuzzy gave up a meteor that he found, which had came from Planet Fuse. Fuzzy has also assisted the war indirectly by allowing his picture to be taken, and in turn, ruin Fuse's research on Imaginary Friends. Despite this, The Magic Tree often wonders aloud about his usefulness to us.

Fuzzy is the character who gives the fewest number of missions, being the total number of one,
without taking into account guide missions. If not for him, Hex and Ace would be the characters who give the fewest missions.

Fusion Fuzzy holds a ray gun similar to the one in the Powerpuff Girls game on www.cartoonnetwork.com, "Meat the Mayor," and in an early episode, "Meat ."

Area Bios: Pokey Oaks North (The Future)

Pokey Oaks North (The Future) Map
Pokey Oaks North is south of Sector V (The Future), west of Peach Creek Commons (The Future) and north of Pokey Oaks South (The Future). It comes originally from The Powerpuff Girls as the area outside Townsville in which most of the habitants live. The Monster Don Doom can be found here at the broken pipe in the mall.

Buttercup and Numbuh Five are the main mission givers here, who are trying to fend off the Fusion Spawns and other monsters in the area, with the help of the player. There is an Infected Zone, Pokey Oaks Junior High (The Future), although there are few missions that have you enter it.

Item Showcase: Alien Beanie

The level 21 Alien Beanie has an Uncommon Rarity rating, but it's also got uncommon good looks!
This cap also provides two types of protection. Stacked nodules scattered all over this unusual-looking hat keep other species from reading your brainwaves, and advanced polymers in the lining protect you from getting too hot or too cold in battle.
Any alien would be proud to sport a beanie like this -- but it's all yours.

Character Bios: Bloo (Foster´s Home For Imaginary Friends)

Bloo

Blooregard "Bloo" Q. Kazoo, is an imaginary friend created by Mac and is one of the main characters at Foster's. He loves to cause problems and is really a prankster at heart,  but he is basically a good guy deep down. He turns to his friends a lot for help. He also gets annoyed by the simplest of things and loves to play with a paddleball despite the fact that he's no good at it. He is extremely lazy, sending the player to get things for him, and saying he is too tired to help. He and Mac are really close friends and it's their friendship that kept Bloo from being adopted at Foster's so long as Mac keeps visiting Bloo.

In FusionFall, Bloo is one of the figures who had a holographic display in the future Sector V, despite the fact that he's neither a guide nor probably ever did anything heroic enough to be up alongside Mojo Jojo, Dexter, Ben and Edd. It could be that since Imaginary Energy is effective against Fuse, he was put there to emphasize its effectiveness against Fuse.

In the past, he can be found near the City Point Infected Zone in the Downtown section of the world. He is framed for causing the rides in the amusement park to malfunction. However, playing on in the mission reveals that Bloo was tricked by Fusion Ace into doing it. He also helps his friends at Foster's in flushing out his Fusion self with the Toiletnator's "Plunger of Doom" in one mission.

Bloo also acts as a mission handler for players following Edd as a guide. Despite being the Fusion of an imaginary friend, it's unsure if Fusion Bloo was affected by imaginary energy like the Fusions of Eduardo and Coco. Fusion Bloo is gas a form notably at variance from the real Bloo, being significantly bigger and having a jagged mouth. Bloo is one of those characters who abuse the fact that people help them, and sends the hero to get things like fried dough or a juice box (though the juicebox does at least help to make a Nano). He has a set based on him that can be obtained from Edd's guide missions.

Did You Know FusionFall? #15: The Help Center!

NOTE: Okay, i know this isnt "tips" per say but it was a pretty cool thingy back in 2009. Enjoy the DYK about it!

Ever get to a point where you need just a little more Fusion Matter to get your next Nano mission, but you can't find any more mission givers? You know you could keep defeating monster after monster to get the Fusion Matter you need, but you feel like there must be one more mission for your level out there somewhere. If only you could find it...

The FusionFall Help Center has just the thing to help weary heroes tired of looking for jobs. Our Customer Service team has assembled an assortment of game guides to give you hints about where missions and other in-game resources might be found.

Not only are there mission guides to let you know who you should talk to at every level to make the most of your game time, there are also guides to many of the neighborhoods found in the Cartoon Network Universe. These guides give valuable information about where to find things like Monkey Skyway agents, vendors, S.C.A.M.P.E.R.s and more. Mission guides for more neighborhoods are on the way, so be sure to check back often for new information.

Head on over to the Help Center, choose Gameplay or Hints from the menu on the left, then click Game Guides. Voila! The heroes' library awaits.
Once you've looked over the guides and have all the info you need to save the universe jump in and play!

Another NOTE: The Help Center doesnt seem to work when visiting the WayBack Machine. If ya can get it to work teach me how! I would love to see what we could get from there!

Area Bios: Sector V (The Future)

Sector V (The Future) Map
Sector V is the very first area the character arrives after escaping the destruction of Tech Square (The Future). The gigantic treehouse of Sector V is located in the center of the area, and is accessible only by Jump Pads and Bridges due to Fusion Spawns taking the gravity decelerator (this caused the treehouse to crash to the ground and is now slightly tilted).

KND Treehouse Sector V Future
Sector V Treehouse
In the Future, the memorial at Hero Square located in the north-west part displays holograms of some of the heroes who fought Fuse (that, and the fact that they are the guides in the past). They are Dexter, Ben, Mojo Jojo, Edd, and Bloo. Bloo is the only hologram character who was not a guide in the past. Not all of the characters shown at Hero Square were lost; Dexter is not seen, but he states that he is fine.
Bloo and Edd were lost to Fuse's army, as confirmed by Eduardo and Eddy respectively. Ben and Mojo Jojo are never mentioned, but one can assume the worst. On top of the statue with the holograms is a floating stone book that says "The hero is 5 name hero great wild talks", which if read separately by each page, it says "The Hero is Great" and "5 name hero wild talks".
NPCs located here include Computress and Numbuh Two. The area is filled with KND Operatives, several with grim pictures of the war's outcome at this point. The Infected Zone, KND Training Area, located in the southwest is relatively new chronologically since it is still under construction in the Past.
Sector V is north of Pokey Oaks North (The Future). It comes originally from Codename: Kids Next Door as the area that the main characters protect.

FusionFall 101: Races!

Today, we will cover all about races, and how useful they can be.

Races can be found in Infected Zones. You can start a race by entering the IZ and talking to a S.A.C.T agent. You need to collect as many Fusion Pods as possible and get to the agent before you hit the time limit. The player's overall score is based on a combination of time and the number of Pods collected. While time does play a part in getting a high score, the collection of Pods has the largest effect on the score, thus requiring the player to collect most - if not all - of them in order to score as high as possible. Certain races have a cap on the total possible score. The SACT agents give the player the option to view the current high scores at any point. Scores are sorted into four categories: scores for the current day, scores for the current week, scores for the current month, and the best scores of all time. Only the top ten scores for each are listed.

Upon completion of a race, the player will a reward based on their score and the number of Pods they collected. The number of Pods affects how much Fusion Matter will be rewarded. Depending on the score, the player may receive an additional reward in the form of a C.R.A.T.E..

Scores are rated with stars for each level of achievement: 5 (Genius!), 4 (Awesome!), 3 (Good), 2 (Not Bad), and 1 (Bleh!). "Bleh!" and "Not Good" will not have C.R.A.T.E. rewards. A "Good" rank gives the player a bronze C.R.A.T.E., which drops gumballs. An "Awesome!" rank gives the player a silver C.R.A.T.E., which drops uncommon armor and occasionally gumballs. A "Genius!" rank gives the player a gold C.R.A.T.E., which drops rare or ultra-rare armor and occasionally gumballs. Gold C.R.A.T.E.s obtained in courses lower than level 20 will only reward rare armor and occasionally ultra-rare weapons, as there are no ultra-rare sets of armor at those levels. However, the gold C.R.A.T.E.s can give you NanoCom Boosters, which are very hard to get and are only from gold Infected Zone C.R.A.T.E.s

Races help out in those levels where there arent many missions, like the dreaded Level 29.
Good Luck out there!

Item Showcase: Eustace´s Fright Mask

Poor Courage has always been terrified of Eustace's Fright Mask. Who wouldn't be? It's horrible!
With Halloween fast approaching, it might be good to get your hands on one of these deliciously disturbing accessories.

Players Level 25 and up can obtain this frightful finery by visiting the E.G.G.E.R. at the Jungle Outpost, or by trading with a friend.

Who knows? You might just find that Fusion monsters are scared of your new "face".

FusionFall RETRO Devblog 9: The Client!

Hey everyone! We're back again with another devblog, this time going over the client that will be used to play FusionFall Retro.

As many of you may be aware, FusionFall Retro will not be using the standard Unity Web Player used for the original FusionFall. Instead, FusionFall Retro will be using our custom client. We’ve built the client for better performance, ease of access and continued support.

As of late April, Unity Webplayer has now been removed from all common browsers, such as Firefox. Obviously this proved to be quite a problem for us using the Unity engine for FusionFall Retro. Luckily, Unity gave advanced notice, so we were able to prepare and make sure everything was in place for us to keep FusionFall Retro development alive and well, so the client is basically the only option to play FusionFall Retro.

The FusionFall Universe Launcher is what you will use to access the FusionFall Retro client, just as with Legacy. You login through the launcher, and are automatically logged into the game. Check out the launcher devblog if you haven't already. As of now, we are not sure about the availability of FusionFall Retro on Mac, but will continue to try and bring it to Mac, so stay tuned for more information on that.

Unity Web Player is handled entirely by the client itself, and if the game crashes, the client will automatically restart it. The client may also improve the game’s performance. These are some added benefits that come with the FusionFall Retro client.

Please stay tuned for further information and updates regarding FusionFall Retro.

Character Bios: Courage (Courage The Cowardly Dog)

Courage

Courage is a pink dog who is constantly frightened, despite his name. He was adopted by a married couple, Muriel and Eustace Bagge, when they found him abandoned in the middle of Nowhere as a puppy when his parents were sent to space by a mad scientist. While Muriel loves him, Eustace calls him "Stupid Dog" and frightens him for his own amusement. However, he will protect his owners (mainly Muriel and even Eustace in some instances) with his life.

In FusionFall, Courage constantly sends E-mails to Gwen Tennyson about alien activity and totems in Nowhere. Courage acts as a mission handler for players following Edd as a guide.

During the Planetoid Fusion crisis, Courage (with the help of the Hero) is ultimately the one that destroys the planetoid by reversing the polarities of a UFO magnet found in Nowhere which was pulling the planetoid to Earth. With the polarities reversed, the Planetoid Fusion was crushed by its own force and was succesfully destroyed before it reached Earth. It is hinted that at least Muriel is hiding in the farmhouse, as Courage had the player retrieve her slippers from monsters as a Guide Mission from Edd ("Slippery Foes").

DId You Know FusionFall #14: Races!

SACT Agents race
You can run races in the game to earn more Fusion Matter. On your mark, get set, GO!

If you're not running races, you're missing out on a lot of FusionFall fun!

You've probably noticed those official-looking characters standing around near the Warp Gates in FusionFall's Infected Zones. Those are SACT (Special Alien Capture Team) Agents, and they're stationed there to oversee races.

Races are a fun way to compete with other players and earn Fusion Matter. To start a race, click on a race attendant, then click the Start Race button. Make your way through the Infected Zone collecting Fusion pods, and finish by checking in with the race attendant at the end of the course (usually on the opposite side of the Infected Zone from where you started). It's you against the clock! Once you finish, your score will be compared to other players who have run the course.

Remember, practice makes perfect! Get really good at races and you could see your name on The FusionFall Blog´s upcoming Racing Champions series as a featured High Score!

Area Bios: The Ruins

The Ruins infected zone
The Ruins constitute an area in FusionFall that lies in The Wilds. The most powerful magic-using Fusions, Grim and Hex, reside here. The heart of the infected zone is what used to be the Hall of Heroes (which has been reconstructed on Monkey Mountain). After completing Dexter's guide task to bring back the heroic souls Fusion Demongo had ensnared, the player returns here to find a Shadow Fragment. Jack tells the player that the piece previously found there was part of Aku's being, which means that he still could be at large. During the Mother's Day Event, Drew and Zon were added to The Ruins, helping the hero and Zak find the Mother Blowfish's eggs.

New Blog! Are U Funkey?

As many of you all may know, a few weeks ago i tweeted out a tweet saying that my bro, who here we call Snow, was making a new blog! One of those keywords was U.B.

Im happy to announce that its finally out!

Old school fans of the blog may remember we did a review on this old, but awesome game, called U.B Funkeys. My brother decided to make a blog all about it!

Hes gonna go by how the series were released, so Funkeystown is 1st, then Funkiki Island, Speed Racer, Dream States, Hidden Realm, Paradox Green and finally unused or scrapped content before the games cancellation.

I guarantee you will love it. Im liking the idea so far!

Anyways, heres the link: http://funkeyscentral.blogspot.mx/

He will also do a Lets Play of the game. You can learn more about it once he uploads the full schedule on there, and more!

Sadly, he did tell me its going to be a temporal blog, meaning it WILL stop somewhere after hes done with all the series and the Scrapped content, but that doesnt mean this is his only blog, and that he has more planned sooner in 2017 or 2018 :)

OF COURSE, that doesnt mean he wont delete it either once its gone.

Anyways, hope yall are having a great day/night!

FusionFall 101: How Good is Scavenge?

Scavenge is considered one of the best powers for nanos out there. Giving out extra Fusion Matter, this power helps out leveling up faster than ever. How good is it?

The Basics
Scavenge gives 20% more Fusion Matter when completing missions and defeating monsters, but not to Races. This power is super helpful to level up quickly and easily.

When to get it
I recommend getting this super power once you get Buttercup in the Future. Grind out some FM from Monsters around Sector V, and change the power. You get FM super quick here and you dont need much early on, making it a great choice, plus it will help ya out when finishing missions or grinding.

Otherwise, get it once you get Four Arms.

Should YOU carry a Scavenge Nano?
If you are looking to quickly level-up, then carrying one of these is a MUST. You can also carry some sort of passive nano power like Run, or some good damaging powers like Leech, or Damage-Point. Healing is also a good recommendation.

Overall, Scavenge is a great nano power, and should be obtained rather early to make leveling up much easier.

Item Spotlight: Billy Nose

There's nothing quite like an absurd nose. Clowns have known this for decades. And while Billy may not have chosen his nose, he does have a very relaxed and stress-free attitude. Who doesn't want that?
If you're hoping to get a comical nose job, we definitely recommend this level 13 accessory. Get it from an E.G.G.E.R. or trade with a buddy. It's a fairly common item, so you shouldn't have much trouble finding one.

Not sure if this is the right look for you? Remember: Fusions can't concentrate on fighting if they're too busy laughing.
