Incoming Transmission (PT 4: Special Announcement!)

Hey! What are you doing in my computer?!
Not much. Just talking to your fans.
Can you get out?! I need to announce something....

Anyways...
Hey everyone! Plants10000 here, and im here today with an announcement!
Some of you may remember the Toontown Rewritten Resource Pack which was gonna change alot of textures and other stuff into FusionFall related stuff. If you couldnt tell, the project died a long time ago, but now i have decided to repick it up and remake it completely.

Introducing... TOONTOWN REWRITTEN: INVASION PACK 2.0!
This pack will change your game to look like FusionFall! It will change Music, Textures and even some SFX! Heres the picture of the 1st thing you see when you login, which is the logo! Green letters look great on the logo ill admit!

Now heres what im gonna do. Ima show a Picture of something every day from here until either we end Season 1 (which i like to call Invasion Beginnings) or the pack releases (which most likely not).

The pack release is currently unknown, but its most likely mid-end of 2018/starters of 2019. Ive been making steady progress each day so ima get this done in some quick time.

With that said, i hope you enjoy the Pictures and hope to see you all later!
~Plants10000

Incoming Transmission (PT 3)

"Toontown is the big place where all toons hang out! We love to interact, play and entertain!"

"Recently however, robotic fiends named Cogs have attacked the place, sucking all the fun out of Toontown with their business´ and buildings!"

"While we have managed to keep things under control with the Cogs, some weird and strange goop started to appear and infect the Cogs! Loony Labs is constantly investigating and analyzing it in private. All we know so far is that it can change the appearance of Cogs, and infect the world.

"As of now, there doesnt seem to be a way to stop this thing directly, so we are gonna keep doing what we can and keep defeating the Cogs! I do hope we can find more assistance soon though."

Incoming Transmission (PT 2)

"Ah! Hello there everyone! Im Doggy. Coming to you from Donald´s Dreamland in Toontown!
Im gonna show you the cool stuff in here! Lets begin shall we?"

FFR Devblog: Nano Powers!

Hey everyone! In this week's update we'll be covering one of the bigger and most essential features: Nano powers.

Most nano powers in the game use buffs, which are things that are temporarily applied to characters.
There are passive buffs such as run, jump, freedom, or antidote, and there also powers that are performed upon activation, such as rocket, damage, drain, or leech. Temporary powers could also be received by collecting Coco's Eggs!

As with many features of the game, nano powers required a lot of research for the best accuracy. We had to be sure we were using the right numbers in the right situations. Each power effectively had to be treated as a feature to ensure everything was functioning accurately. Research is perhaps the longest part of the development cycle, as we have been trying our best to be both accurate and balanced!

And of course, you can’t forget about Gumballs! Gumballs were fairly straightforward, but threw us a bit of the loop. As it turns out, Gumballs were originally intended to come in several different tiers of power, and many things were left over as a result, which made first, but fortunately, we were able to figure out when the values were used appropriately.

We’ve also implemented the changing of nano powers. Nanos have three powers each, but you can only have one selected at a time, which is chosen when you first receive the nano. If at any point you want to change what power the nano uses, you’ll be able to swap it out for either of the other two powers the nano has available. To do this, players need enough taros to buy the the power items that correspond to the nano power they want, as well as enough fusion matter to make the power change.

As always, thanks for reading our latest weekly update! Stay tuned for more exciting details!

FFR Devblog: Lvl 1 Drops!

Some fans of the original game may remember that level one monsters didn’t drop any Crates! In an effort to further balance the game, we are introducing Standard, Special, Sooper, and Sooper Dooper Crates for level one, since they already existed in the game, but were unused.

While we can’t know what these may have dropped in the original game, there aren’t many unique level one items. Instead, we’ve opted to include every level one set from character creation, alongside a whole bunch of fun accessories!

With this change, you no longer need to make character after character to get all the character creation set pieces you want. You can earn them legitimately! We also managed to sneak in a previously unreleased helmet, so keep your eyes peeled!

Among the many items FusionFall had to offer, several went unreleased. You can expect to find a few of those unreleased items put to use in the future as well, through the standard monster drops, as well as through promotional events or special codes. We’re hoping to make the most out of what FusionFall has to offer!

As always, thanks for reading our latest weekly update! Stay tuned for more information in the near future!

Follow-Up: Extra Thoughts on TSTO Deep Space Homer items + Updates for the blog

Hey so welcome to this follow up post! Ima just share some of the stuff i couldnt/didnt put on my last post, which you can check out HERE. I will also talk about some updates and plans for the blog. Lets begin!

To start, you may not see the items in your store. This is because EA is putting Mini-Events back for those who never finished them or played them (like me). You may get a different event with different items in the shop, so keep an eye out for that.

2nd, you need the Space Shuttle if you want to have Astronaut Barney´s 60min task. Still not worth it imo. Im just getting that bundle because its a really good deal to get Barney.

3rd, this event (and promotional for an upcoming event which i wont tell for spoilers) lasts till January 23rd, so get those items or tasks done quick.

And now for the blog update!
I have included a new post for Thursdays, which will just be something TSTO related. I have a bunch to say on the game so why not make it part of the weekly schedule? I may talk about the game too on the FF Weekly.

Now, regarding your regular FusionFall fill, its coming back. Ive been extra busy recently with school and having to deal with temperatures of -2 or so (AKA super cold) which has lead me to a minor cold. Already got some posts planned. That and the severe lack of news too (i mean ik Weekly Devblogs are nice but thats only once a week).

Another thing, and its regarding PvZ Heroes. I probably wont do more there since the game is on either a decline, or just semi-dead currently. Its really weird, but i have lost interest in the game as of now. May return once a new set drops but thats about it.

Finally: Youtube! I will return with YT as soon as im done with all the school and life work. Got some neat video ideas cooked up (and no it wont be cooking videos NOR about the new YT rules. Everyone has gotten into it recently that it was dead on arrival almost). My plan is still to upload for fun and for you all, not monetary gain.

See yall later!

My thoughts on TSTO Deep Space Homer Store items

Well this is... Different
You see, i myself play and LOVE The Simpsons Tapped Out. Recently a new Mini-Event started and some new and old things popped up, so i decided to review them all and see how good or bad they are! Lets begin.
(If you want to do a quick brush up on the game or the content, do so. It will help in understanding this more)

Space Shuttle Simulator: 75 Donuts
Every 3hrs earns 5 NARA stars and 11 xp
2.50% bonus money and xp to all jobs.
Improves Vanity Rating
Thoughts: Meh. The stars are required to progress thru the event, but this isnt necessary. Pick it up if you like it, but i would stay away from it.

Astronaut Barney Bundle: 250 Donuts with a bonus of 130 Donuts = 120 Donuts Net
Comes with Astronaut Barney outfit, Bowlarama & Barney. Astronaut Outfit produces NARA stars.
Thoughts: If its in the store for you, GET IT. You still need to have 250 Donuts, but its still worth it imo. Getting an iconic character for that price is amazing. F2Ps maybe stay away, but if you have the donuts, pick the bundle up!

Rigellian Shrub: 5 Donuts
Improves Tree-Hugging rating
Thoughts: PASS. What a waste of donuts.

Rigellian Queen: 100 Donuts
Improves Obidience rating
Thoughts: PASS. Oversized and not a good purchase imo.

Rigellian Tribal Hut: 20 Donuts
Every 3hrs earns $75 and 7 XP
Improves Indolence Rating
Thoughts: Meh. Last Xmas it was rebated at 10 donuts, but i still like it. Not a must buy, but not something that should be ignored. If you like it consider picking one up!

Portal to Rigel 7: 75 Donuts
Every 8hrs earns $200 and 22 XP
Improves Obedience Rating
Thoughts: Meh. Not a good building, but does unlock a few tasks. If you want it go ahead, but id personally pass.

Drive-In Theather with Space Mutant: 150 Donuts
Doesnt earn income, but you can assign jobs to earn money and XP
Improves Consumerism
Thoughts: If you like it go ahead, but otherwise Pass.

Springfield Observatory: 75 Donuts
Every 16hrs earns $350 and 35 XP
Improves Obedience
Thoughts: A like it, buy it scenario. Myself i wont pick it up, since i will pick up the Astronaut Barney Bundle, alongside some of the Vault items i got this week. Its okay and it looks nice, but otherwise, if you dont like it or dont find a use, pass.

Inanimate Carbon Rod Monument
2.75% bonus money and XP to all jobs
Improves Vanity
Thoughts: Not a bad % for 30 donuts. If ya like it pick it up.

And this concludes my thoughts on the Deep Space Homer items! Will YOU pick any of them up? I definitely want to do more TSTO content for the blog as an aside thing. Might include it on the Schedule, but ill think about it.
See yall soon! ~Plants10000

FFR Devblog: Custom Names

Hey everyone, in this update we’ll talk about custom name approval! As you may recall, later versions of the game did not support player submitted names, but don't worry, ours does!

While in the character creation menu, you will have the option to generate a name from a wheel of predetermined words, or submit your own for approval by our moderation team. To show off custom names, we have created a character named “Fuse Fighter.”

Before your custom name is approved, your player will have a temporary name. Your temporary name will appear as the word “Player” followed by a number. After getting approved by our Community Team, your very own custom name will show up for all to see!

If your custom name is not approved for any reason, on your next login, you will be prompted to either give a different custom name, or return to the name wheel and create one in place of your original choice.

It’s worth noting that all usernames submitted must adhere to our community guidelines.

This will be an additional task for our very lovely and much appreciated Community Team, so if it takes a little while for your custom name to be approved, don’t fret! They’ll be working to ensure everyone gets the custom name they want.
As always, thanks for reading our latest weekly update! Stay tuned for more information!

The FusionFall Weekly: Fusion Matter Mystery, FFR Devblog (alongside my whereabouts)

"Hey guys. Before we begin i would like to address where ive been.
Simply put, ive been busy with school and with family. No theres nothing wrong nor bad happening (thankfully) but it has been alot of work. As ive said before i only do this as a hobby and not a full-time job (heck not even a job), so please understand that if theres a big delay between posts, its probs because of School. With that said i hope yall enjoy the newly revamped FusionFall Weekly. Im sorry i couldnt cover the newest Devblog (about Custom Names). It was made a few days BEFORE the devblog. This Weeks weekly will have both this weeks and last weeks devblogs.
With that said i thank everyone who has stayed loyal and has kept coming back for every post. We love you all, and hope you have an amazing day/week! ~Plants10000"

Character Bios: Computress (Dexter´s Lab)

Computress
Computress is Dexter's personal computer that oversees the running of the lab and has a personality of its own. While she does her best to give Dexter advice when he is about to make a bad choice, he usually ignores her, leading to disastrous results. Dexter sometimes refers to her as "my love" or "my dear." Computress was once "Computer," from Dexter's old lab, but her personality and all of her data was transported into a mobile body, essentially moving Computer herself.

In FusionFall, Dexter has upgraded Computress with hovering and mobile technology. She serves as both his personal assistant and the forewoman behind production at Dexlabs. Computress is both respected and admired by both the Dexbots and even the cynical Mandroids. However, as seen in the manga, Computress's computerized heart belongs to only one man, Professor Utonium.

In the Future, Computress served as the only guide, determined to help the player return to the Past by sending him/her to recover various items to rebuild the time machine. She helped the player understand the basics of battle (as well as the mechanics of the game).

In the Past, Computress handles the missions in the Mt. Neverest tutorial area which introduces the player to the four Guides he/she can select. After that, she can be found beside Dexter in front of the Dexlabs building in Tech Square. She mainly requires the player to help with the problems in Tech Square. She also helps resolve the issue of the quarrel between Mojo Jojo and Mandark by finding and sending the player into the Secret Lair of Fusion Max who had been the real culprit all along.

Area Bios: Sector V

Sector V Map
Sector V is the base of operations for the Kids Next Door appointed to said areas. Apart from the actual base, Sector V is a suburban town with houses and such. Sector V is a KND sector consisting of Numbuh One, Two, Three, Four and Five. They live in a suburban area presumably in the United States, where their treehouse is also stationed.

In the first attack by Fuse, Sector V is being defended by Numbuh Two and Five. After being overun by the Fusion Spawn, Blossom and Bubbles rescue the two from falling to their deaths. After a quick save they are still no match for the Fusion invaders, until Dexter arrives with Ben (Four Arms), Mac, and Bloo.

The safe zone in Sector V is the KND Treehouse, which you can climb up by going to the back of the house jumping on the boxes and so on. To keep Fusion monsters from attacking the treehouse, the base is being propelled by anti-gravity technology provided by both Dexlabs and Mandark Industries. Metal chains keep the base tethered to the ground.

Nearby, lies the KND Training Area which is slowly becoming an Infected Zone, and Hero Square, a memorial made up of holograms and statues, showing memorial to lost heroes. In the past, only Buttercup is represented in Hero Square, but in the Future, Dexter, Bloo, Mojo Jojo, Ben, and Edd are as well. South of Sector V is Pokey Oaks North.

FFR Weekly Devblogs: Improved Chat Filter!

Hey everyone! For this update we’re going to be going over one of the most important features in the game, the chat.

Many users may remember the original game’s chat left a lot to be desired. More often than not, saying simple things like NPC names, item names, locations, etc. would wind up being censored and unreadable.

This issue was caused by the game’s chat whitelist. A whitelist is a very large list of pre-approved words that users are allowed to use when chatting. This is done in order to ensure the safety and well-being of players interacting online. While well intentioned, the original game’s whitelist was lacking a large number of keywords and phrases necessary for players to be able to talk about the game they were playing.

Fortunately, we were able to go in and create our own whitelist, which includes every word used in FusionFall itself, including names created using the name wheel. You can now talk about everything ingame you may need to! Additionally, we’ve included a massive library of other common words to ensure that communication between player is smooth. Just as well, we will constantly be updating the whitelist with any useful words and phrases we may have missed as they’re brought to our attention.

But, be careful to spell everything right, though, as if the word is not in the whitelist, it will be removed! Eventually, we may have a way for you to submit new words, too.

Thanks for reading this week’s update. Stay tuned for the next one!
