Item Showcase: Quartz Hammer

"Bash some monsters good with this pretty (dangerous) melee weapon!"
The perfect description for one of my favorite Melee items... Yes, even more than the Fosters Sword.

Look at this thing: Its a big freakin Sword Hammer! Made from a very precious material, called Quartz.
For those who dont know, Quartz are, and i quote from Wikipedia here:

a mineral composed of silicon and oxygen atoms in a continuous framework of SiO₄ silicon–oxygen tetrahedra, with each oxygen being shared between two tetrahedra, giving an overall chemical formula of SiO₂. Quartz is the second most abundant mineral in Earth's continental crust, behind feldspar.

Sweet jesus thats alot of info... Nevermind then...

Quartz are simply like gemstones, which look really damn nice. Just look at one irl!

Now imagine seeing a Purple one.

Now put the materials of this and make it a hammer. You got a Quartz Hammer. Definitely much prettier and tough than an Imaginary Sword right? Well... No, as it is a Level 2 weapon found very early in the game, so against higher lvl monsters, it will do practically no damage, but looks nice at least.
