Hey everyone! Ive got way busy with school recently so i havent been able to post too much. Im sorry.
Another reason is because there havent been much news. The FFR Alpha Update thread was recently locked down, with supposed "upcoming news", so we will see where that takes us.
Im still alive, but havent have time to post here. Will do later as soon as there are more FFR and FFL news tho!
Based on the Noods era from CN, this head will make you look like the blue devil that is Bloo! Be careful though, as Fuse´s monsters may get confused and capture you due to them having an attraction to imaginary energy, which this bubblehead is made out of.
Welcome to the 4th edition of The FusionFall Weekly, a weekly series to tell you all of the recent and interesting news in the FF universe! This week wasnt filled with much stuff in the FF universe, but rather with blog news and plans! Lets see everything this week had to offer.
-Poll: FFR Missions?
This week we did a poll both on Twitter and on the blog about a very interesting question: Should we do an FFR mission series but without editing (music, speeding it up, SFX, etc)?
The results were an oustanding positive reception, with 0 No votes and all being Yes. The poll is still on the blog right now, so you can go ahead and vote there, but the Twitter poll did tell alot.
As a result of this, we will do a test video later this next week to see how you all react to this, and will begin doing mission videos once FFR releases missions. So happy to see how you all responded to this great idea, and cant wait to start doing it.
To give yall an idea of how its gonna be, you can check out this video done by the amazing Legomegazord, which is a mission uncut, not sped up and without music.
Legomegazord names these videos with an "HQ" tag. This is the way our vids will be done, but will do ALL of the FFR missions, including Nano Missions.
-Plants vs. Zombies Heroes Impfinity and Citron decks!
Recently on my twitter i shared these 2 decks for a card game called Plants Vs. Zombies Heroes, which i play. You can go check those out by clicking the links below. Ima start adding these into the FusionFall Weekly rather than making them their own post, because these deck guides will use the same format i used back when i did the PvZH blog (Decklist, idea, the cards, replacements, conclusion)
Impfinity Valkyrie + Laser Base Alpha deck guide can be checked out here.
-Tip Corner: Target Reticle
Nanos have a targeting reticle!
When you summon a Nano to help you battle Fusion monsters, you'll
be able to see exactly when that monster is targeted by the Nano. A
large circular targeting reticle will appear over your enemy.
If a monster is in range of both your Nano and your weapon, the Nano
targeting circle will appear inside the weapon's targeting square.
This targeting feature is super handy for those times you want to
sneak up on a Fusion beast and stun it before it can attack. Since your
Nano may have a longer range than your weapon, you can put the whammy on
the enemy and then launch an all-out attack before it even knows you're
there!
You should start practicing with this targeting system immediately.
-Lets Talk! The strongest character in the FF universe?
Have you ever wondered what the strongest character in the FF universe is? Quite a few people have, and i would like to put my 2 cents into that.
Lets start with powers. You could say that its Ben 10 since he can transform into multiple aliens with different abilities to defeat Fuse´s monsters, but even with that some of Fuse´s biggest and strongest baddies could probably take him down, like Don Doom.
Then we have characters with gadgets. Maybe it could be Mojo Jojo with his multiple gadgets and weapons that can adapt and be ready for any situation. The same can be said to Dexter, as he also has alot of gadgets to use. Same deal with the KND kids. The problem here is that Fuse´s monsters can adapt and even use weapons against them, like with robotic-like monsters, or Fusions, like Fusion Dexter who probably has the same gadgets as Dexter, if not more powerful.
In terms of strength. Samurai Jack has a sword and has been seen taking on large groups of enemies, so he could be a good candidate to be the strongest. If talking strength in GROUPS, we have Fosters Home and its large quantities of Imaginary friends, but maybe they dont want to be put in danger as Fuse WANTS imaginary energy (Yes that a plot thing).
I think Samurai Jack or characters with access to technology and gadgets have a strong chance to be the strongest. This is just my opinion, so tell me. Who do you think is the strongest?
With football season in full swing, heroes of all levels will want a head accessory with total touchdown style.
The
perfect solution: the level 1 Football Helmet. Easy to get (check in
with the E.G.G.E.R. at the KND Tree House), easy to wear.
Remember,
the great thing about accessories is that they don't affect your stats,
so if you want to show your love of the game right up to that level 36
battle in Lord Fuse's lair, go for it!
Get some quarterback style of your own -- PLAY NOW!
As some may have noticed, we completely removed both the PvZ Heroes and UB Funkeys Blogs. Theres a good reason for this.
The more simple one, UB Funkeys, was simply too repetitive in its content, and we knew it wouldnt have lasted long. Aside from that the game was just D E A D, so theres very little point to talk about it now.
As for the PvZ Heroes blog, it was all simply because of its long posts, which would make it hell for us to work on 3 blogs at the same time. Ultimately, we decided to stop working on the 2 and focus here from now on.
Dont worry though! Im planning on making PvZ Heroes deck posts here and on the twitter, so if you are a fan of that then stay tuned for more.
Now for sad news...
I return to school this Monday 24th, as a result posts may slow down, but not by much im sure. Wish you all luck in school too :)
Welcome to the 3rd edition of The FusionFall Weekly (2 weeks and a day late -.-), a weekly recap of everything that happened over the week on The FusionFall Blog, RETRO, Legacy and Universe. Lets begin!
Our news this week:
- FusionFall RETRO is out! Sort of...
- POTD: Grand Finale #2
- Updates: Chromatic Conquest and FFR Group Photo.
- Pages Gadget is back!
- FusionFall Assets Pack!
- Monster Bios: Sewer Creeper.
- Tip Corner: Morbucks Savings and Loan.
- Lets Talk! A funny theory of mine.
FusionFall RETRO is out! Sort of...
RETRO has released! As like an alpha version you could say, since only the Tutorial is playable, with a walk and talk Future world coming soon.
You can check the FFU Forums thread about info and updateshere.
We also released the 1st part of our FFR Playthrough, which you can check here.
POTD: Grand Finale #2!
Another season of POTD has come to a close, most likely to work on developing stuff for Legacy and so people focus on RETRO. My guess is that they will return in September or October. We will have to wait and see.
This one shows our heroes fighting an oil ogre and Fusion Buttercup. The best part is that you can get a desktop version too! Now thats cool.
To be honest, we should have seen this coming.
The Chromatic Conquest and the Group Photo have been delayed till RETRO is multiplayer. Im guessing Chromatic Conquest will be delayed a bit more till monsters are implemented but its just a guess.
You can check more on this by checking out the FFB post here, or check out the full Chromatic Conquest FFU thread by clicking here.
Pages gadget is back! The pages gadget is back after some changing. Expect more pages to be added later alongside updates to our current ones. This also means that the FusionFall Chat is back!
Go check it out here. FusionFall Assets pack! We released a FusionFall assets pack to use in projects and fan made blogs! Go ahead and download it here.
Monster Bios: Sewer Creeper
These guys certainly are creepy, and very tough.
Check out their bio here. Tip Corner. Morbucks Savings and Loans
It's easy to store your in-game gear at Morbucks Savings and Loan!
If you have more cool items than you know what to do with, but you don't want to sell or trade them, it's time to use your Bank Vault. Since your My Stuff pack has limited space,
it's not practical to carry around every item you get while playing.
Morbucks Savings and Loan is FusionFall's trusted institution
for your storage needs. Every hero who jumps into the fight against Fuse
is automatically issued a Bank Vault for stashing extra stuff.Bankers
are conveniently located throughout the world, near vendors. They have
an icon hovering over them that looks like a sack of money with a letter
B on it. You can access the items in your vault by clicking on
any Banker you find, so it's easy to take advantage of this handy
storage system. The first Banker you'll encounter is located in the
Cul-de-Sac.
To add items to your vault, click on the Banker, then click
on the Bank button to open your vault. Drag items into your vault, or click on the item and then click Move to Vault.
Moving items from your vault into your My Stuff pack works exactly the
same way. Before you know it, you'll have a vault loaded with your
favorite items!
Lets Talk! A Funny Theory of mine
Theorizing can be fun! And i think i have come up with a fun story for RETROs release of only having the Tutorial. Listen up boys!
It starts all like in the game, but while making your way to Sector V, the S.C.A.M.P.E.R malfunctions and it crash lands on a lake of Fusion Matter. Dexter, who in our theory will be alive, is now trying to figure out a way to get the S.C.A.M.P.E.R to reach Sector V without malfunctioning. The black screen at the end of the tutorial hides the death of the heroes in the S.C.A.M.P.E.R because thats too dark for kids.
And thats something new to add to your headcannon. I hope you liked it.
The Sewer Creeper is found in Peach Creek Estates (The Future). These guys are very tough, and have a moldy texture to them, alongside pipes around their bodies. They also have a menacing look, hence the name "Sewer Creeper".
They arent too tough to take out, but they can be in groups, which can also contain their boss, Sewer Stalker. A Shattergun is good enough to deal with them, but alone a pistol or rifle are good options.
Be careful with their Corruption Attack, which drains a Nanos stamina drastically. When you see a glow start appearing on them, quickly switch to a different Nano to absorb it. Absorbing it also gives that Nano a Stamina boost.
Hey everyone! Today im happy to announce that i have finally released a FusionFall Asset pack! This pack contains pictures, videos, music, and much more to use free of charge on your projects and fan made blogs! A few of these were edited by me, while the majority was taken from the FFR, FFL and the old FusionFall websites.
The file is compressed to make it easier to download, so you will need to use a decompressor to get the files. Its very easy.
If you have any problems or questions, please feel free to ask and i will try to respond.
Now with some updates.
Im sorry for the lack of posts recently. Went to see family, looking for shit for school like books and backpack, and of course, working on this. Expect the posts that i missed recently to be posted today or tomorrow.
