THE PAST HAS OFFICIALLY BEEN RELEASED! And with it FFR Version 2.0.
Adding all 36 Nanos and Levels, the Past and 600+ missions, this is one heck of an update, and with it FusionFall Retro is officially complete!

Alongside that, the Clockwork Set is back for anyone who wants it. Its back for a limited time at Sector V, Hero Square (The Past)
Now this is a cool little shop that recently opened. This shop is designed for selling all types of Future eggs! Not only that, but there are also Nergal Tendrills and Blindfolds for a cheap and affordable price. Really cool shop!
Fun fact: The user who created the shop has the same name as the shop. Pretty clever :P
Highly recommend it if you are looking for any type of Golden Egg from all the zones.

Now why did i say partially back there? Its because im planning to start posting again on the UB Funkeys blog (AFTER ONE YEAR AND 2/3 MONTHS OMG) since my PC can now run and play UB Funkeys really well compared to my potato PC where i used to record the UB Funkeys footage.

The Blindfold: One of FusionFall´s most iconic items. This item was praised back in the original game, thanks to its awesome look and its crazy rarity, being an Ultra Rare item which could only be obtained in the Future. Its was worth hundreds and even thousands of taros for just one.
Nowdays, its still praised as looking great, but its price has decreased drastically, and by that i actually mean it: Drastically. Its price is so low you can easily get one just by doing a few missions, and its as low as 1000 and even 500 Taros.
So... Why is this? I decided to dig into it, and heres what i found... Get ready boys... ITS HISTORY TIME.
The Blindfold back in the original game wasnt a drop like it is today, no no no. Back then it was ONLY an Egger item. It wasnt as valuable back when the Future was still around, because you could get it from grinding Eggers, but if you werent in the Past, people would see Future Eggs for about 50k Taros... YIKES. Thats alot.
Go to February 2011, where the Future was replaced for the Academy, and with that, Future Eggers, and with it the Blindfold, werent available anymore, well not easily anyways.
This was where both items got a huge raise in price. Xtreme FusionFall, an old FF Forum, made a price list back around 2011-2012, and put the Blindfold at 50k to as much as 200k Taros, almost as much as the other most wanted items, like the Eduardo and Open Circuit sets.
It was still obtainable, but since it was an Ultra Rare, it was better to obtain it via Trading, since Taros were easy to obtain as well.
Jump to Retro and Blindfolds were made obtainable thanks to the new drop system, where drops were spread to all monsters of the same level rather than each monster having specific drops, and with that some items were added to the drop list, including the Blindfold.
With people grinding like crazy for items and Taros, obviously alot of Blindfolds would be found, and IT DID.
Blindfolds started at 15k or 10k, but quickly, AND I MEAN QUICKLY went down in price to 5k, then quickly to 2k and finally to the price of today: 1k-500 Taros
The price difference is insane from game to game, and theres one simple reason for this change: Saturation
You see, originally one of the best areas to grind was Sector V with the Fusion Spawns, since they were easy to kill, and with them and the Shocktanglers being the only monsters that can drop Accessories, it made them a big grinding target.
With that, people began to grind them like crazy, and getting Blindfolds left and right, and thus saturating the market of them, and thats where we currently are.
It hasnt just been the Blindfold who´s been affected by "The Retro-conomy apocalypse". Other items include the 2010 Hat, who in the Xtreme FusionFall list went as high as 150k Taros, now its 10k-15k Taros.
Whether the price of them will rise once people are in the Past is unknown, but whatever may happen to them just goes to show how an economy can change with just a single difference, this time being drop rates and things you can do to obtain it (You can still get the Blindfold from Eggers, alongside various Egger exclusive items).
Basically, the update added all the player features, including Trading, Groups and Buddies. E-mail wasnt and hasnt been added yet, but its expected to be released sometime after the Past is out.
Also, some NPCs were relocated and "new" missions were added... I say "new" because these were actually removed in the current version of the OG FusionFall, but thanks to some coding they were finally readded.
Combat got reworked. Some bugs were fixed and it was overall a great update.
We have an event going on atm called "The Time Squad" event, where Time Squad members would go around the FF world and give out special items! These items are 2010 themed, and are the 2010 Glasses and 2010 Hat.
The event however seems to be on hold, as the team is putting all their effort into getting the Past released. There seems to be some Time Squad members still around, and they go to popular locations, like the Cul-De-Sac and the KND treehouse, but also hang around sneaky and hidden areas.
So far the prices for both items fluctuate alot, but ive pinpointed them. Glasses: 30k-50k + Taros. These are really rare, as they seem to have only been given out during the 1st day of the event. I managed to snatch some myself at 15k during the 1st and 2nd day however, but doubt you can find those at that price anymore.
Hat: 15k-30k + Taros. This one is far more common, and you can probably find it for cheaper. I managed to get one for free via the event, but good luck for those buying them!
Now i wanna touch upon another topic briefly, but i insist on Briefly, as i might want to make a post all about it.
Youve probably seen it, and it can get quite annoying: Egg campers
Those people who will camp the Golden Egg, especially the one at Peach Creek Estates, and completely take it over.
I hate them, you probably hate them, but theres no need to panic.
Other than the Omnitrix Shoes, which honestly arent that cool anyways lol, you can get its other items via trading.
Here are the prices and the items in question.
Delightful Football Helmet: 1k-5k Taros. Cheap and easy to get. This and the other item cant be worn rn however because they are lvl 5.
Nergal Tendrils: 5k-15k Taros +. The best item in the game hands down lol. I just had to get one for all my characters ok?
And finally, the elephant in the room... When is the Past releasing?
As of now the date is unknown, but the devs are working as fast as possible to get it done. Please, dont bother the forums with questions about the release, because the devs dont know, but are working hard at getting the game out.
For progress however, it seems like its just the Fusion Lairs and some Missions, but thats according to the forums, and some stuff should be taken with a grain of salt.
RUMOR: There have been some rumors regarding the release date, with some stating that its most likely releasing in October. Where has this claim come up? Discord Servers.
You see, the devs hang out in Discord Servers, and there they usually give out some hints or info regarding development. Both the old missions being re-added and the Time Squad event were both rumors that originated there, but later on turned out to be true.
While this is most likely a prediction, it should still be taken with a grain of salt, as Discord info is usually not reliable, even from a dev, which could be making a prediction.
