Catacombs Contest! FoFM Update #5

Welcome to another (fairly short) FoFM Update post! Today was a rather relaxed day, as only 2 challenges occured today, but they were quite significant, as they were challenges to obtain both the upper and lower catacombs, some of the last free zones available.

If you dont remember, last time, Roxie LeeBlossom took over both the Upper and Lower Catacombs and invited any team to take them from her. Today was exactly the day to do so.

And so with this in mind, lets see who won!

Challenge #1: Roxie's Cataclysm - Caponata Circuit

A simple vehicle race, but this time its 2 laps, with multiple teammates participating. The idea was that one would do the 1st lap, then another team member would complete the second. Cosmix and Fusionium were up to the task, however, if Roxie won before them, Roxie would win, and neither team would take the territory.

Fusionium won the Lower Catacombs in the end, leaving only the Upper Catacombs to be obtained.

Challenge #2: Roxie´s Cataclysm - Web of Shadows

Now this was a change of pace in comparison to other challenges! Once again its Cosmix vs Fusionium with Roxie interfiering in the way. This is quite special, as its a Hide & Seek challenge!

Simple really: Find Roxie before time runs out. 1st to find her wins, but if nobody finds her before the clock runs out, Roxie keeps the territory.

Cosmix won, splitting both Catacombs into 2 of the most competitive teams around here (not saying the others arent tho).

And thus Todays challenges ended, and with a nice note too. Take a read :)

Interesting... Seems like we will see more from Roxie soon over at FoFM. Stay tuned!

With all this, only a Hub remains: The Mount Blackhead Hub, and with that taken, all territories will be owned. For now however, its only going to be ante challenges. The competition rages on!

As for stand ins, i currently dont have a map, but when its updated ill update the blog post accordingly.

FusionFall Videos: Fuse with Level 1 gear!

This was a feat i didnt even think could be done: Beating Lord Fuse with Level 1 gear.

Simple really: Have a good nano team and use Level 1 gear, including armor and weapons. Can it be done? The answer: Absolutely, but its hard.

Heres a video showing how its done. Made by badrat fan (amazing name btw), it shows that its possible, albeit hard, to beat the big bad Fuse with the lowest leveled gear.

Music Tuesdays: Undertale - Megalovania

Time for what might just be the most meme-able and the most iconic boss theme in recent times! Megalovania has made a name for itself for being an epic boss music and a great meme.

This song plays when you fight Sans in a Genocide Run of Undertale. While it doesnt contain any gameplay, i still recommend you hear it WHILE fighting, as it makes it much better.

An overall insane day - FoFM Update Time #4

Welcome back to another thrilling post of FoFM Update Time! Today was quite an interesting yet insane day overall. Lets take a look at what happened.

Challenge #1: Courageous Threshold

A simple Vehicle Race, except this time its for both Monkey Foothills and Monkey Mountain. This time around its the middle of the road vehicles, or 900 class vehicles. Ziplines were allowed for this one.

Cosmix vs Fusionium, with Fusionium taking the win.

Jake MagnavoX, also known as Dex7322, livestreamed this and the next challenge, and took pictures and video of them using a program he created called Nanocom X. What´s Nanocom X? For now i wont tell, but soon.

Challenge #2: Cut n´ Drythroats

Time for one of the 1st Ante challenges! This time around instead of competing for a territory, participating teams must put up a territory they own in order to participate. Winner takes the losers territories.

Once again we got Cosmix against Fusionium, and even with the same people! However, instead of a Race, it was a Grinding Challenge, with Nano Assists allowed. Fusionium took this one from Cosmix again, and took with them Prickly Pines from Cosmix.

Challenge #3: Tutu Flag Capture

Time to finish up the challenges with a simple trekking challenge on Mandark´s House. This time around Adaptium joined the frey against Cosmix and Fusionium. Each put up their respective Ante´s, and whoever got 1st to the Tutu Flag on top of Mandark´s house wins!

Adaptium ended up winning, and pretty quickly too. Below is the video of the race :)

Breaking News!!!

Roxie takes over the Catacombs

A sudden occurence happened when before the night challenges, Roxie LeeBlossom took over the Catacombs and decided to challenge whoever wanted to take the Catacombs from her. Whoever won the proposed challenge wins both Catacombs!

This was supposed to be today´s big challenge, but after some thought and complications it was post-poned to Thursday. Stay aware from any dangerous spider-human hybrid girls tho!

Alongside all of the challenges, soon after the 3rd challenge was done, Light, who was the Cosmix participant, decided to pull off the ultimate ragequit: Flat out leaving the Discord server.

The server suddenly freaked out. We all knew that he rage-quit on an earlier challenge, but it was during the challenge, not after, and especially not in this way.

Upon this, benbolt504, who is the Adaptium leader, took the chance to become Cosmix leader, but didnt succeed because Light came back.

Item Showcase: Shark Bite

The clean lines of the Sharkbite's design let you know there's nothing fishy about this elegant item. This thing's got some bite! This Shattergun-class weapon looks totally sleek and packs a major punch.

You'll have to complete Bloo's Level 13 Mission "Water You Kidding? (Part 4 of 4)" to get your hands on this little gem. I know, i know, Bloo can be a selfish pain in the neck sometimes, but this reward makes dealing with him worth your while. Good against single enemies and even better when battling groups, the Sharkbite is destined to be a favorite of every Fusion fighter who carries it.

Another Win Streak begins! Eggs, Ziplines and Items - FoFM Update Time #3

Welcome to yet another FoFM Update Time! Today was quite a day, with 3 challenges and quite a bit of fun stuff happening. Lets take a look shall we?

Challenge #1: Dial M for Magic

1st for the blog posts, its a Grinding challenge! Adaptium vs Blastons vs Cosmix in a search for either the Hex Staff or Stone Sword. 1st to get to the ref (which was me) wins Huntor´s Crest!

In the end Beka, the Adaptium competitor, won the challenge for her team. It took quite a while till the winner got to me (about 30 mins), but someone did make it, with a Hex Staff nonetheless.

Today was also the 1st day i managed to get videos for every challenge. Heres the one of Beka (also known as Death Bunneh) showing me the item.

Challenge #2: Cul-De-Sac Dash

Time for the obligatory race challenge, but not in vehicles, but rather on foot!

Once again the main 3 (Adaptium, Blastons and Cosmix) decided to compete to win Green Maw in this thrilling foot race from the Cul-De-Sac to Fosters Home and back to Johnny Bravo on the event island to win.

In the end, Shala, the Cosmix participant, won the challenge for Cosmix. Race was pretty close at the end too, until Benbolt, the Adaptium participant, picked up a Run egg which actually slowed him down. Check out the video to find out.

I was also Ref/Supervisor for this one again. Today pratically no one wanted to ref so i decided to do it myself and get the footage in the way.

Challenge #3: Danger! Nessie!

Another Foot Race! This time around Adaptium didnt come, but Fusionium did instead, competing against Blastons and Cosmix once again. A foot race around Loch Mess, but instead of everyone going at the same time, its one by one, and its timed! Shortest time to complete wins The Precipice.

Light won the challenge with the shortest time, making this their 2nd win in a row. Will the streak continue?

As before, i ref/supervised the challenge, and got a recording of the times. Here it is :)

Thanks to a great user in the server called Lily, a new FoFM/C3 map was created! The version on the discord server is a gif, however she provided me with an image version. Check it out!

Quick Side note: This upcoming week i will have my monthly exams. Because of this i might not be able to get videos or even post on the blog during that time. Its only 4 days however, but still gotta study it up to get good grades. Hope yall understand and dont mind the slow posts.

Troubles out of Nowhere! And Orchid Gay - FoFM Update Time #2

Welcome to the 2nd FoFM Update Time! Last Wednesday challenges didnt occur because of a pretty major mishap: Nowhere was given out incorrectly!

Originally, Fusionium won Nowhere, but after some debating it was found out that Cosmix was the actual winner. This has been fixed, and challenges restarted just today :)

Challenge #1: Orchid Bay Race-Way!

Today´s 1st challenge was a racing challenge with Deltetradite against Fusionium to win Orchid Bay. Fusionium won, and for the better to make up for the loss of Nowhere.

Upon winning, Riley, who was the Fusionium representative, renamed Orchid Bay to Orchid Gay, and it will stay like this till taken over by another team.

Heres a video from when i was supervising the event. I was told by Ecto to supervise, and took the chance to record. Contains our Discord call too :P

This time around i dont have a map to show the standings. I will next time, as i gotta update the one i created. Also, the old list was replaced with a Gif map, which looks awesome.

Cosmix did try to do a grinding challenge shortly after this challenge ended, but it took too long and nobody wanted to challenge Cosmix. Guess for next time.

Chillwater Catastrophe! FoFM Nightly #1

Welcome to the 1st FoFM Nightly! Where i will cover the night challenges of FoFM. If you dont know what this is, you can check out this post here to learn more.

A night challenge takes place from 6pm to 9pm, maybe less time. They are similar to the regular challenges however.

Today´s challenge was quite interesting: It was a race!

This challenge was made and inspired to honor Dex7322, who created the original racing course. It was Adaptium vs Blastons vs Cosmix vs Fusionium. A Quad challenge!

The territory to win was Forgotten Falls. It was a vehicle race with 2 laps, no dismounts and a reset upon falling off. 1st to reach the finish line wins.

Yes, i participated in this. Gotta contribute to the team.

In the end Blastons won 1st place, while Adaptium got 2nd place. Blastons now owns Forgotten Falls. This also ended Fusionium´s triple win streak.

As compensation/2nd place prize, Adaptium will be the 1st to face Blastons to try to obtain Forgotten Falls at any available time. Not bad.

Heres a video i got of the race. I was recording while participating. I told you Ecto i can do 2 things at the same time lol.

Soon after the challenge Adaptium planned to take back the Water that belonged to them. Blastons fought back. This was the entire conversation.

Other changes to the Valentines Update

A few other changes included changing Skyboxes, like the Really Twisted Forest now being Purple!

Eternal Vistas is now grey, which i personally dont like but whatever.

Peach Creek Estates is now blue instead of Green, which is great.

And heres the Love Bug :)

Alongside that the glow has been increased to more resemble the original game. Awesome.

Valentines Update!

This might not be news for you anymore, but a new Valentines update is here!

Candy Cove has been extended a bit to include new land for events. Flapjack and Johnny Bravo have settled near the Blood Gnat Exterminators, who are getting rid of Blood Gnats to try to stop them from invading the creek.

You can get 7 exclusive items by doing the limited time missions, alongside a new vehicle called the Love Bug! Its 50,000 Taros for a 1,200 class vehicle.

Alongside them, Dracula has come out of retirement and can now be found in Eternal Vistas... ALL YEAR ROUND!

He offers new missions starting from Lvl 8 till Lvl 12, to help out those who are getting stuck around these levels. Its extra Fusion Matter! Alongside him, more characters will be permanently added to Retro in 2019.

Alongside that, we got many new things coming soon. Heres the list that was included in the post.

NPCs: We’re currently focusing on finding homes for many of the NPCs prominently featured in the original game’s Birthday Bash. The original development team had intended on fully implementing these characters in to the game, so expect some new faces to appear!

Missions: All of the new NPCs will come with missions, of course! One of our main goals with these content updates is to help fill out a very noticeable lack of missions that players encounter late-game.

Game Features: Infected Zone Racing is still on it’s way, don’t worry! We’re going to take the time to make sure it’s as good as it can be, and we’re also going to be including some very worthwhile rewards for high scoring runs! Just as well, Player-To-Player ingame E-Mail is also on the way!

Items: Flashy new items and faster vehicle classes are on the way!

Fusion Monsters: Fuse still has many more of his elite boss creatures that they plan to unleash across the world, and who knows what else they’re cooking up. Stay safe out there!

Fusionium Sweeps the Leg! Cosmix Forfeited? FoFM Challenge Update #1

Welcome to the 1st ever FoFM Challenge Update! If you would like to know what FoFM is or means, you can check out this post over here. In this series we will cover the challenges that were put up alongside its winners and other stuff. Lets begin!

Challenge #1: Marquee Row Sprint Race

The 1st challenge was Adaptium vs Cosmix vs Fusionium. It was a Marquee Row Sprint Race to win Tech Square as a territory.

The winner was Fusionium, starting their winning streak.

Challenge #2: Skypad Space Race

Oh boy... This is a hard one.
This one was Cosmix against Fusionium. Participants only had to use Run, Jump and Rocket Nanos to make it to the end as fast as possible, and with an area like the Space Port its quite the challenge. They were participating to obtain Acorn Flats as a territory.

The ending to this one was surprising, as Cosmix forfeited the challenge, thru Cosmix´s participant, named Light, ragequitting after falling down, thus giving Fusionium its 2nd win in a row.

A while after the 3rd challenge, Fwag, which is Cosmix´s co-leader, said this:

Challenge #3: Green Maw Mountaineers

And i thought the Skypad was hard.
This was a quad challenge, with Adaptium vs Blastons vs Cosmix vs Fusionium! This time they participated to obtain Nowhere as a territory.

Same rules: Run, Rocket and Jump nanos only. 1st to finish wins.

With Blastons and Cosmix falling down, Fusionium ended up winning for the 3rd time in a row.

Will Fusionium continue its winning streak? Or will Adaptium, who is in the lead of territories, take them down? 

Here are the current hub and free zones claimed, alongside the free zones available. Adaptium has a HUB, while Fusionium has a lot of Free Zones. Lets see what happens next!
