The next Funkey Showcase will be postponed till tomorrow, Friday 29th, as i have not recorded other showcase videos yet.

Will do so today, but wont have time to post it because i got to study for some exams, so tomorrow it will be.

FusionFall Legacy - Tech Square Showcase!

Yesterday the FFU twitter shared this video! Its a showcase of the (mostly) complete Tech Square! It looks so cool and all of the changes are amazing.

I will do a comparison and analysis post soon, so stay tuned for that. Meanwhile check out the video and look for changes, differences and additions!

Re.2: TD POTDs

Hello again.
Regarding the TD POTDs, i will NOT be giving them out nor reposting them until the fire has settled. Everyone is still panicked and scared from this and i want to wait some time before even mentioning them again.

Please, do not ask us to share them to you, whether it be by Twitter or by the blog comments, or by private messaging. Doing this many times and even threating or insulting us for not sharing them right now will result in a block on Twitter or no response.

Im not gonna hide them forever, but at the same time im not gonna give them out nor repost them until things have settled a bit. The other reason is for us to not get into trouble with FreshTV or any other company, so we are holding off showing them right now. Dont worry though! I assure you we will be presenting them in different ways, and even then you will be able to see them once things have settled, so stay calm and relaxed.

IMPORTANT: Total Drama´s Inclusion!

Today, Devan made an important announcement about the inclusion of Total Drama in FFL, and its a very serious situation.

Heres what was said:

PLEASE NOTE: We ALWAYS intend to respect the wishes and views of the rightful owners of the content we use. Should a content owner disagree with what we’ve done using their content, we are willing and intend to fully comply with their wishes.

We have recently received notification from a Fresh TV representative that they would like us to cease and desist inclusion of the Total Drama Franchise and all related characters, plots, properties, etc. As a result, we are fully complying and removing all Total Drama Franchise and related characters, plots, properties, etc. from FusionFall Legacy.

Of course as you might imagine, this does throw a little bit of a wrench in the chain, but considering our position, we’ll simply have to make due. As always, this is to be expected. We do not own any of the properties or characters we use. We are building Legacy as a labor of love and are not officially endorsed by Cartoon Network, Fresh TV, or any further content owners.

Separately, we will cease PotD production for September 25th moving forward until we've stabilized plans. Our apologies.

As always, FusionFall Legacy will continue development. Stay tuned for further information.



In short, or TL;DR (why wont you read it its very serious): Fresh TV doesnt want Total Drama to be featured AT ALL in FFL. As a result of this, TD is getting removed from the FFL storyline, canon and of course, POTDs.

Tbh, this really sucks, as it would have been really cool to see this awesome series brought to FFL, but since its a company which has the rights to the series, they decide what to do with it.

This also brings up an interesting point, as Total Drama is going to be brought back again (look it up it may come out by 2018), and also TD was never really featured in FusionFall, only thru items which arent gonna be in FFR. Because of this, TD wasnt even meant to appear in FFL.

Long ago, the devs said they had no plans to include it, as well as since it isnt a property made by CN, they would have to needed to get the approval of Fresh TV from the beginning to have plans for TD being included.

By any means, Im not bashing the devs nor complaining, all im saying is that TD being included would have needed to be thought more throughly, as just including it like that is infringing on the rights of Fresh TV.

As of now all mentions and POTDs about TD have been removed from the FFL website and twitter. We may need to remove them too from the blog, so if you see them disappear out of nowhere one day, thats why, as to not get ourselves into trouble with Fresh TV either.

Funkey Bios: Deuce

Deuce

Fond of all things hip and trendy, the Deuce set the standards for cutting edge culture. In fact, the phrase “What the Deuce” means what’s hot and “That’s Deuce” means that’s cool.

The Deuce love music but not that snooty, high culture opera that the Glub sing. The Deuce like Rockabilly and anything that’s fast and you can dance to.

The Deuce are notorious pranksters. The most famous prank was when they tricked the Glub into wearing elaborate costumes with big platform shoes, rhinestone sunglasses and jeweled hats for their performance before Parliament and the Queen. She was not amused.

Despite getting on the nerves of many Funkeys at one point or another, everyone wants to be Deuce.

FFBs 2nd anniversary! The Story so far

(2 days earlier cuz idk if i can make it next week due to exams)

On September 2015, i made the choice to create a blog. I have made blogs before so this wasnt hard, but what WAS hard was the topic.

Ive had alot in mind: Minecraft, Lego, Card games and more. But recently i found out about FusionFall Legacy, a revival to one of my favorite games of all time: FusionFall. I saw that preregistration for the demo was up, so i decided to cover it via a video. I knew that i had to make a blog for it too, as i had gotten back into FusionFall.

I forgot about FusionFall around 2014, where i pretty much had 0 hopes that it would return, but when i saw this i literally shed a tear :,)

I made my 1st post on September 26th, 2015, where i covered the character creation/preregistration for the demo. Looking at it now i cringe at it, but hey, everyone cringes at their 1st thing rite?

I advertised the blog in the old Modulator Network FFL Forums, and sometimes in the Live Chat. It quickly picked up traffic and started to be noticed.

By the end of 2015, i had 500+ visits (or views). Not much but i was proud and knew it was gonna pick up popularity next year.

2016 started, and FusionFall RETRO was announced, a recreation of the original 2010 FusionFall. I loved this as i never experienced the old FusionFall. I was always an Academy player but i did knew about the Future.

I knew that i needed to change the name of the blog, as it wasnt about Legacy anymore, so it was changed from "The FusionFall Legacy Blog" to "The FusionFall Blog" around February or March. On March the blog finally got 1000+ views, a big milestone i seriously didnt expect to reach.

Jump ahead to June, where i made the Twitter for the blog. It was originally just for announcements and posts, but eventually became a place to post random stuff, aside from notices from new posts. This helped alot, as advertising on a social media was a better way to get people to see the blog. The forums were still used for that but also helped alot to get the blog more views. It did work out pretty well as by the end of June the blog finally reached 2200+ views, which was made thanks to the twitter.

By July, we had reached 3000 views, which was crazy as i didnt expect it to get to the next number so quickly. The end of summer came and views declined a little bit per month, but it wasnt by much. By September we got to 4000+ views. This year we also celebrated the 1st anniversary since it was released.

On November we got to 6000+ views, and in December we got to 7000+. I was amazed by the crazy boost in popularity of the blog. At the end of 2016 we ended up getting 13x more views than last year, which was reasonable since the blog was started late into the year.

Some of my inspirations to make my blog include FusionFall Hints n Tips made by Oliver ZombieWeasel, which i also enjoyed his series´ and posts back in the day. Legomegazord and his great FusionFall videos, and my passion for the FusionFall Legacy project.

2017 has so far been one of the biggest years for us here. We got the biggest spike in visits in August, where we had 1704 visits! I found this crazy and im so proud :)

One thing i never expected was to see a popular FF Youtuber follow me! Famous FFL and FFR YTber "TheMagicalDealer" followed us on Twitter one random day! I was honestly gonna have a heart attack the day i saw that XP Thanks dude :)

As of now, the blog has gotten this month alone 1100+ views, and im so happy for you all that visit us, whether once, twice, or daily for checking this little passion project by me.

And now, with 14k strong, and heading to 15k, i just want to say THANK YOU for all the support and views youve all been giving us in these past 2 years. This has always been a favorite pastime, hobby and passion for me, and its a way to show love for both an amazing game and one of my favorite things ever: Blogging.

Heres to another great year of battling Fuse´s forces and taking back the CN Universe!

Funkey Showcase: Lotus

Lotus is a Funkey in FunkeyTown. Its place is found nearby the Funkiki Island Portal.

 

Lotus´ funkey design is based on Real Life Panda´s, while the Rare and Very Rare versions are just recolors and have very little references.

In Lotus' game, Heart Hoopla, you need to match 3 of the same color hearts. Using the mouse, you aim to release the heart. The level ends when a heart hits the top.

Notice that you can see the next color heart that will come up next. Use that as part of your strategy. Other tips that may help are: you can bounce the heart off the side, you have 3 sticks of dynamite but you might want to save them for the end when really them. If you have a color heart you can't use right away, aim it out of the way of any 2 color groupings to keep it out of the way for now. If you are aiming for the top row, you can line up your aim by placing your cursor up & outside the range and then bring it down to line it up perfectly. Don't move your arrow between shots because you know where it's aiming, so you can use that as your point of reference when you line up your next shot.




High Scores:
A score of 38, 460 got access to game room plus a nature's heart. 52,004 got the trophy, 75,000 got the panda pinball. The highest score reported is 145,470.

FFBs Super Spoopy Spooktober Special!

  

October, the month where undead things come back to life, robots become sentient, and vampires roam the streets, at least for a month. And here in the blog its no different (i mean, we have a weird slime thing offering candy every now and then).

This time around i decided to make a fun activity for the month of October: A Scavenger Hunt!

Starting next month we will hide 10 different candies around the blog. We will give more details and clues to them once it begins next month (expect it to begin around the 1st or 2nd week of October).

Dont they look delicious? I sure like them (Cyan is my favorite :P)

Funkey Showcase: Vroom

Today´s Funkey Showcase is all about the Daredevil: Vroom!
Vroom´s Place is found in Laputta Station. Nearby ROM Nexus and Fallout´s Place.

 

Vroom isnt really based on anything. Its a unique design, however the amount of stars it has represent the place where he lives in, Room De Vroom, and the fact hes a performer of stunts.

 

The inside of Room De Vroom represents a Garage, filled with stars and bikes, alongside oil spilled around the place.

In Vroom’s game, Super Vroom Ball, you start out on round 1 with 5 balls.

To throw the balls, hold down left click, aim, quickly move the mouse forward,(fast or it’ll be a “Dead Ball”) and let go. Be careful on how powerful you throw it, or it’ll go out of bounds, counting as one of your 5 balls. There are three rounds. On the second round you get 7 balls, and on round 3 You get 10 balls. 

Tips: Practice makes perfect! Keep trying to get it in that 100 slot, and once you get the hang of it, you’ll be able to throw it in easily! Plus, during those countless games of practicing, you could win a gem shard!

High Scores: A score of 1,220 earned a Stunt Cannon, access to it from the Game room, a Trophy, and a Classic Pinball Machine.

Funkey Bios: Bones

Bones

The Bones are what they are. They don’t hide their feelings or thoughts from anyone. But it’s easy to get under their skin making them often grumpy and disgruntled.

The phrase “You Old Bucket of Bones” has come to mean someone who is in a bad mood and if you “Have a Bone to Pick” you are upset about something. But make no bones about it, they still have fun.

Most doctors in Terrapinia are Bones and they are accomplished at playing piano. Their favorite past time is fishing, although their catch is often just skin and bones.

Funkey Showcase: Boggle

Todays Funkey Showcase is all about Boggle!
Boggle´s place is found in Laputta Station. Nearby the Big Red Button and the Portal to Daydream Oasis.

 

Boggle and its place is based around a monster, or an alien, due to its 3 eyed face. His place on the outside represents a cave and even a mouth of a monster, which could reference their big mouths.

The inside represents a laboratory. Weird choice huh?

 

His mart has alot of spooky items, and his Rare and Very Rare items are spooky eye wallpapers.

His game is called "Get Outta my Stew!". The goal is to squish the spiders using your spoon, and destroying their webs that they place in your stew. If they stay for too long, a red liquid will fill up on the side, and once it reaches Boggle´s sad face, its game over.
 
Getting a score of 6,000+ gets you a Boggle Fridge and the ability to play the game in your game room. A score of 9,500 or 10,000 earns a trophy and the game room access.

Funkey Showcase: Scratch

This weeks Funkey Showcase shows Scratch!

 

Scratch´s place is found near the Funkeystown Museum and Gabby Abbey. It resembles a disco place. Its shop has items resembling music, with its rare and very rare items involving instruments.

Its game is a dance dance revolution like game, where you need to hit the discs as early as possible, or directly in the red line below. Its quite difficult, but my best advice is to play the easy and medium mode, then playing the expert mode once you are comfortable and speedy enough. Playing the harder modes gives you more points. A highscore of 40,000+ earns the highscore item and access to game room.

Funkey Bios #1: Boggle

Boggle

The Boggle are eating machines. Their highly advanced digestive systems can process anything from the most poisonous spiders to raw iron.

The Boggle bodies break down any material they eat. They sweat out a pure, sweet substance similar to honey that is the staple of all Funkey diets. Nothing beats a peanut butter and Boggle sweat sandwich with a warm glass of purple milk.

The Boggle are an essential part of the Funkey society as the recyclers of all waste, with zero harm to the Funkey environment.

Don’t be scared by their hideous appearance, the Boggle wouldn’t hurt a fly… unless it gets too close to their mouth – then they might take a nibble.

FFB Update: The Photoshop update?

Thats right! I finally got Photoshop in my PC, and have been taken classes to do stuff, like ads, images and more in it! I will now be able to make better pics :)
Finally replaced the old schedule text with an image, and added a U.B Funkeys schedule to tell yall when ima do bios and showcases for them (see the last update post).

RETRO Release Update: The September Update

We got some more info on the upcoming multiplayer and future zone in FFR! Heres what was said:

"Hey guys, just steppin' in for a quick update! We're still around and we're still working on the aforementioned database implementation as mentioned in our multiplayer update below. I want to thank you all for being patient, we're of course having to work between our lives to squeeze in the time we can to work on getting multiplayer and the Future Zone ready."

Fall Update Time!

What do we have in store for this fall? And yes, i will now do update posts per season.

1st, im thinking of making a separate twitter account for the blog itself, while the current one will be personal. Expect it sometime this month.

As i explained on one of my recent posts, i havent posted much because there isnt much to talk about. As of now we got POTD Season 3 which is gonna begin soon (hopefully), but aside from that we are just waiting for RETRO to release. Another reason is because of life (mainly school), and as we know... Life is 1st.

If you have checked the twitter lately, ive said that i want to finish up the UB Funkeys Showcase videos, just to have them as legacy for the game. I will be doing that but dont know when to post them.

As for the FFR mission test video i may push it till Multiplayer releases, and may make a detailed post containing everything you need to know about them. This is honestly one of my most hyped projects so far (for me atleast), and it will be very fun i assure ya ;)

Since October is near us, we will redesign the blog to fit the halloween theme for October, so if yall want to give us your ideas to make it EXTRA SPOOKY.

Another thing i want to do is a weekly poll. Still thinking of cool questions for them.

As for stuff like Yearbooks, LPs and others, i will inform of that later (maybe until the Winter update post).
